Twenty-six women control twenty-six briefcases, each of which contains as little as a penny, and as much as $1 million. How much faith does a player have in the contents of the cases? Only the banker knows for sure.

Episode 4.8
October 24

Last time, Richie Bell could've come away with a million. Instead... he settles for $10,000 after playing a game of... "The CHAIR!" with the banker. Add that to the buck that was in his case, and you can bet he's a happy camper.

So now the Mission continues with our next player, COLEEN FOWLER. Coleen's a happily married woman from Minnesota. She believes a lot in luck, and she believes in "paying it forward". This is relevant.

Tonight's game is a Million Dollar Mission game with eight Million Dollar Cases in play...

Is one of them in Marisa's case? ... Probably. She's been here before, but every game is different. Every player is different. And this is no exception.

26 (Lindsay) - $1,000,000... Seven left.
4 (Keltie) - $25,000

Seven big cases left. So we're going to hear a big offer. And... we do.

... or five cases. Coleen knows how to play this... NO DEAL!

Coleen says that she's going to donate a portion of her winnings to a couple of friends (which will come as a total surprise). Pay attention. This is relevant.

Next cases...

7 (Sara) - BANOODLES!
19 (Amanza) - $5000
9 (Patricia) - $1,000,000... Six left.
5 (Ursula) - ... make that five.
11 (Katie) - $5

Hmmm... it's still a dealer's board, but just so. The banker drops the offer to...

Here to help make Coleen's decision are Janine (mother), Theresa (hairdresser), and James (husband). They all think that Coleen is very competitive to the point of wearing a "loser shirt" if she loses. Coleen doesn't plan on losing tonight. NO DEAL!

Four to go.

20 (Alike) - $1,000,000 ... Four left.
6 (Megan) - $75
24 (Kelly) - $10
21 (Tameka) - $300

And it's that time again... time for the Banker to step on Coleen's cubes... Today, he does so by lowering a giant sign... "LOSER". Well, it's no shirt, but way to get the point across.

The offer...

BANK OFFER

$ 0.01 $ 1,000

Heck of a safety net. Dealer's board. Easy decision. NO DEAL!

2 (Mariela) - $50,000
14 (Pilar) - $1,000,000... Three left.
3 (Lisa L) - $100

And here comes that sign again. The offer...

Still a nice little block, but it's a long way down. There's a three in eight chance that Coleen's a millionaire... NO DEAL!

Now for her friends. Earlier in the show, she said that she would share some of her winnings with them. She lets them know that 10 percent of her total stash will go to them.

So let's go for broke! Two cases...

15 (Brooke) - $200
23 (Aubrie) - $1,000,000... Two left.

We're down from a 37.5% to a 33.3%. Offer...

It's still a good board to have at this part of the game. Coleen seems to agree, so ... NO DEAL!

8 (Lana) - $25

... and there's that sign again. Banker doesn't like that case. It means that he has to raise the offer...

BANK OFFER

We're down to two MDCs and a lowball offer. This one's easy. NO DEAL.

Now one of the gallery, Alike to be exact, feels like Coleen does in regards to "paying it forward". She was a Big Sister as luck would have it, and she tells Coleen that whatever she wins will be matched and donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters with a minimum guarantee of $100,000. So no matter the outcome today, someone's going to win big.

Back to the game, though.

12 (Lauren) - $1,000,000

Yeowch. Banker's offer takes a hit.

BANK OFFER

Here's what we're dealing with... Safety net is gone with one steep drop awaiting her if she picks incorrectly. But at the same time, the book says that you play on with the money offered.

Does she play conservatively, knowing that she's at least going to pay forward $100,000 to a charitable organization and 10 percent to her friends? Or does she go for broke and hopefully milk the bank for all its worth?

Coleen decides... to get out. DEAL for $176,000!

Good number going to a good cause, but was it a good deal? Crystal had ... $10,000. Bank offer: $345,000. Jenelle had... the last million. In Coleen's case...

The Million Dollar Mission continues to nine next time...
