This is it. In a hour, Judson's Legacy, The Food
Fighters or the Boys Next Door will win $100,000. All
season long, they put the good book to the test and now
it's a race to see who'll get the bling. This is going
to be a big matchup for everyone. So, for the last
time....
LET THE CHALLENGE COMMENCE!!!!
Judson's Legacy

Charity: Hunter’s Hope, an organization that, in
partnership with Judson's Legacy, raises awareness
and funds research for Krabbe Disease, an illness
that Cristina and Drake's firstborn son battled
Team Members: Drake Levasheff (college
administrator); Christina Levasheff (author); Dean
Bobar (pastoral assistant). This highly spirited
team consists of married couple Drake and Christina
and their dear friend Dean who they met during a
very life changing time. They have been rock solid
friends ever since, and share a very unique and
special bond. |
The Food Fighters
Sacramento
Charity: Foodlink Inc., an organization that feeds
the hungry in Sacramento
Team Members: Stephen Law (student); Michael Chen
(assistant industrial hygienist); Ed Law (business
owner). These three call themselves “the Jeremy Lins
of Bible trivia.” Ed, who owns a window cleaning
business, has always taught his six kids to lead a
Christian life. His son Stephen is a high school
sophomore who is passionate about knowing God.
Michael is Stephen’s youth pastor and fellow
competitor in bizarre eating contests. |
The Boys Next Door
Pasadena, CA
Charity: Oasis USA, an organization dedicated to
ending human trafficking
Team Members: Drew Vinson (student); Sam Altis
(student); Matthew Blanton (student). These buddies
and neighbors may like to joke around, but when it
comes to their weekly trivia events, they are
serious competitors. Each grew up as a Christian,
but didn’t come to the full realization of his faith
until adulthood. |
We start with...
JERICHO: GOOD CONTRACTORS ARE HARD TO
FIND
It ain't about the pro wrestler Chris Jericho, it's about Jericho in the
Bible. 10 points in the opening tap.
Who led the campaign to bring down the Walls of Jericho- Jacob, Jehu,
Joshua or Humpty Dumpty?
The Legacy pull a Jeopardy! with Joshua and it's right no matter if
you're on a game show or not.
Ten-hut! What order did Joshua give his army for their six-day march-
don't talk, don't weep, don't fall asleep or don't mess w/ Texas?
The Boys shut themselves up with Don't Talk. 10 on the board. Last one:
What did the priests carry as they marched around the city for six days-
ark of the covenant, jars of milk & honey, rocks or two forms of I.D.?
The Fighters carry the Ark of the coveant to teh right answer.
Everybody's off to a good start. Let's let the choir sing for a moment
while we move into....
LYRICAL MIRACLES
The Choir sings about Jesus and teh 12 angry men known as the disciples,
but tell me this...
"Jesus and the twelve disciples didn't have much money, but Jesus paid
the temple tax with cash found in the mouth of what?"
The Boys answer with fish. Go fish for 25. Next, they sing about Noah.
But tell me....
"When Noah left the mountain after the flood, after the rainbow; when
Noah left the mountain, what did Noah plant?"
It's Vineyard. 2 in a row for the boys! Next, they sing about Jonah and
Nineveh as we go to this....
"After Nineveh was spared, Jonah barely even cared. Jonah even felt more
grief when what creature ate his leaf?"
The Fighters get worm and they worm their way to the right answer.
Finally, a hymn about this.....
"God leads the way, O Lordy, God leads the way. If by night you're a
wandering Israelite, this could lead the way."
The fighters fire back with a pillar of fire and ending the round, they
get 60 as does the Boys, while the Legacy stay at 10. now we move into
2-player action with:

The Legacy kick it off with this....
Who let 300 burning foxes run in a field to burn the grain of his
enemies- Samson, Jephthah or Herod?
They think it's Sampson and....that's right! The fighters have this....
What group of people returned the ark along w/ a gift of five golden
rats- Amalekites, Babylonians or Philistines?
The Philistines is what they wanted and that's got it! The Boys wrap it
up with this....
In 2 Samuel, who danced before the ark of the Lord wearing only a linen
ephod- Joash, David or Zedekiah?
They say David. Dance Dance, because it's right! Moving on to....
CSI: HOLY LAND
More Victimized investigations. And for the legacy, we start with....
"The victim: A man crushed by a millstone dropped from a tower/The perp:
A woman in the tower/Analysis: Victim was stabbed AFTER the millstone
crushed him"- was the victim Ahab, Abimelech or Adonijah?
They get Abimelech....and it's correct. The fighters have this...
"The victim: A prophet once hired by Balak/Cause of death: Killed in
battle/Analysis: He was killed by Israelites, but the Moabite king hated
him too"- was the victim Balaam, Gad or Nathan?
They get Balaam and it's Correct! The Boys will wrap it up with this....
"The victim: King Eglon/Murder weapon: A sword buried deep inside his
belly/Analysis: Killer was left-handed"- was the killer found in Judges
3 Gideon, Ehud or Shamgar?
They answer with Ehud. Yes it is! After 4 rounds, The Legacy have 110
and The Boys & The Legacy both have 160. It all comes down to....
THE CHOSEN THREE
The Boys go first. They want to know 3 descriptions found in Daniel's
vision in Daniel 7.
dragon w/ man's head, flaming bat, leopard w/ four heads, man in chains,
lion w/ wings or bear?
They get Leopard & Lion, but for dragon...they get scorched. Bear was
teh one. The Legacy need to rally. They want to know 3 nations of the
Israelites mentioned in Deuteronomy 7:
Canaanites, Temanites, Shunammites, Hivites, Tishbites or Girgashites?
They get Cannaites, Hivites & Girgashites...and they're all right! The
Fighters need to knock the Boys out if they can tell us the 3 things
that are true for both the prophet Elijah and his protege Elisha.

miracle of replenished oil, raised a boy from the dead or flew away in a
chariot of fire?
The get the oil and raising from the dead, but healed a lepaer....isn't
it, Parted the Jordan RIver was teh one. But both teams are tied and we
go into a tiebreaker. First to buzz gos on. Listen up!
What did Gideon lay out to test the Lord's...?
I don't need to say it because the Boys answer with Fleece and they're
going into the finale. The fighters put up a good fight all season long
and end up with $42,500 for their charity. Now it's down to 2 for a shot
at 100K. To do that, they must know about....
THE BOOK OF ROMANS
So we go off to the study room while the choir sings with the notable
absence of Tommy Tallarico & The Earthworms.
It's time to battle! The Boys go first and they get.....9. For the
Legacy, it's not going to be an easy task. 10 is the magc number. Did
