Eviction Night #5: Wil vs. Joe
August 16

THE STORY SO FAR! Halfway through a summer of twists and turns that saw four returning coaches thrown back into the game as players. Last week's landslide eviction of Janelle made one thing clear: no one is safe. Even more clear is that the game can turn on a dime, with Shane, Britney, Dan, and Danielle forming one alliance with HOH Frank and Boogie and another with Ian. Frank would go on to win the Veto... and decide not to use it after Wil and Ashley do some talking.

It's now day 41 in the House, and Frank has spent most of that time on the block. He has learned that there's more than one way to make a big move in this game. Dan thinks that someone might want to backdoor him because he's won the game before. Frank had a golden opportunity to get rid of a power player and he chose not to. Meanwhile, Joe decides to offer a peace offering... dulce de leche bread.

Meanwhile, the four members of BOTH alliances decide that they have to win HOH in order to preserve what's left of both alliances. Joe tells Ashley that the plan is to pick off the stragglers one at a time. So he's got some work to do.

Dan is telling Frank that Ashley and Joe are going to meld well together. Joe's going to buy him another week to try and "shank Frank".

Frank and Ashley on an ice cream date... and Ian is right there, dude. Not cool... But it's all covert for Ashley so she could get some information. And ice cream turns into cocktails. Because there's no ice cream in the house. And cocktails turns into "you wanna make out on the couch?" Meanwhile, Ian... is dumped.

Ashley, on behalf of all scorned nerds everywhere, I just want to say that I hope you get voted out next week.

Wil correctly names the three stragglers: Joe, Ashley, and himself. Meanwhile, the Quack Pack (Ian's alliance) controls the vote and is hoping to keep things on the DL.

Meanwhile, Julie adds a wrinkle into the upcoming HOH competition...

- Which temptation would you like to add to the HOH Compeition?

So what does the family of Chef Joe have to say about his game plan? Let's go to Schererville, where we meet Sarah Arvin (wife) and his four kids, a 15-year-old daughter, a 14-year-old son, and two 11-year-old twin girls. His strategy: cook his way through the show. The house is not happy with Mike Boogie, because Boogie is... something we can't print on this page. Oh, and Joe needs to stop yelling so damn much.

Joining us on the front porch tonight: BB vet Jeff Schroeder. He and Jordan are living in Santa Monica... there are plans to finally put a ring on that. By June 5. Surprising him the most: Janelle leaving. Anyone can win this game. His favorite: Ian. As is ours, man. As is ours. Jeff can be seen interviewing the parade of the damned tomorrow on CBS.com.

Current Events Quiz... Did you know...
- Jennifer Aniston got engaged this week to Justin Theroux.
- USA won the most gold medals in the Olympics.
- Dwight Howard is taking his talents to the Southland.
- And a woman NFL referee, NASA landed on Mars, and Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson become zombies in love... .ALL TRUE.

Now that we've had a bit of fun, back to business...

EVICTION VOTE #6

Final arguments... Wil and Joe basically beg the house not to vote for them. No reasons given.

As HOH, Frank will only vote in case of a tie. Nominees Wil and Joe cannot vote. The vote to evict is five.

Ashley: JOE
Boogie: WIL
Danielle: WIL
Jenn: Chef JOE
Dan: WIL
Britney: WIL

That is four. That's enough. By a vote of 6 to 2, Wil Heuser is evicted. WIL, PLEASE LEAVE THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE.

HOH COMPETITION #6: Swamped

Fill your cup with as much liquid, get it to your jug and be the first to grab your cork inside. First houseguest to do so wins the power, but there's more at stake than HOH, because there are two smaller jugs that may tempt you away from HOH: Safety (cannot be nominated or evicted this week) and..... $10,000. If you win either Temptation, you are out of the running for HOH, and once HOH is won, the game is over and the temptations are out of play.

The houseguests are slipping and a sliding. Come back Sunday to see who wins.
