"Episode 17" -
March 24
Last time, Janie Colosso decided to
just have fun with the banker after decimating the right-hand
column, leaving with $750. We now pick up with case 21 and the
owner, Brett "Kurtzy" Kurtz, as he is about to open up case
12...
Get the power move going...
Jill.... Open the case.
Brett still has his lucky
handkerchief. Let's see what the banker says about that...

risk, baby. No deal!" the wife says... With an 80% chance that
Brett is sitting on less than $300. Then he goes into this
romantic spiel about garbage whatchamacallit salad fruit cup.
Brett says... "The really great can make you believe that you
can become great. That woman makes me believe!" No deal.
One to open... The wife says 5.
Sarah says avoid.
And there's the banker...

Maurie still feels good, but
let's ask Sarah. She says "deal". What's $76,000? "It's a lot of
trips to Fiji." Everyone says Deal.... Except Brett. No deal.
Howie's like "WTF, mate?" "You may have just made a huge
mistake. But we'll find out... After the break.'
One to open... Joe-Joe says stay
away from 23.
Case 5 (Ursula) |
Ursula says that she's
very nervous... Howie
gives her the power "from behind"...
BOOM. $300,000 |
And there are two audience
members either laughing or getting ready to laugh. Maurie runs
over to give her fallen hero a hug, at which point we say... "Awwwwwwwwwwwbarf."
The banker, with his corncob pipe in hand, says...

We'll see. Pick a case, please.
