"Episode 7" - February 28

Last night, Peter Montesanti, a SWAT officer from Las Vegas, closed a deal for a record amount for this version of the show... $359,000! Can Cheryl Jackson, a pastor from Plano, TX, close a similar deal? If you remember, she chose case 16, and opened 11 so far, as she awaits an offer from the Bank...

But first, a reminder. Tonight, the show will sweeten the pot with a top prize of $1,500,000! That top prize hasn't been revealed YET.

And it won't be, because we're not ready for that... YET. First, the Banker's offer...

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000

$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Will Cheryl play on for a larger amount? Let's ask her team... The team: baby brother Darius, sister Chandra, baby sister Lynette, and husband Artis. Darius is an account manager. He says $31,000 isn't enough. "NO DEAL!" What does Cheryl say? "Last time, you told me the Banker went home early, so I had to work overtime. You tell the banker that this is going to be the biggest overtime check he's EVER going to write. NO DEAL!"

Four to go... And the whole church is here to cheer her on.

Case 10 (Patricia) $500,000
Case 6 (Megan) $1,000
Case 23 (Aubrie) PENNY CASE!
Case 20 (Ingrid) Slowly....

The congregation is on their feet... The banker... is on the line. He's intimidated by the million on the board, ergo this offer...

$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Still three cases to go and three huge amounts to lose... The church says "no deal"... "Last night, I had beef and I was broke. Tonight, I'm going to have steak and I'll be rich. It is NO DEAL!"

So we have three to open

Case 3 (Lisa) Lisa looks genuinely dejected, and rightly so...

$1,000,000

Case 24 (Nancy) $50,000
Case 17 (Donna) $500

It's alrighty, still two amounts left of any worth as the banker calls with this...

Howie: "He says that the board looks a little complicated, so he needs to do a little more work. And a little more work takes a little more time..."
Cheryl: "Come on, Howie..."
Howie: "You know what I'm about to do?"
Cheryl: "I know what you're about to do!"
Howie: "What am I going to do?"
Cheryl: "You're gonna go to a commercial!"
Howie: "RIGHT!"

After which we see the bank's offer... Down a bit...

Case 8 (Tamara) $400

Case 25 (Sonia) Cheryl: You got five dollars!

Nope.

$750,000

The banker saw it go the other way, so that's how this offer goes...

Cheryl is still jubilant, saying "No Deal"... "Money doesn't make me happy." But there's one more offer... Howie offers to switch cases... she doesn't. In the end, she ends up with the biggest amount on the board... $5. But money doesn't make you happy, so in that, she's a winner... In that.

But still, we press on. The board is reset, the values are reshuffled, and we need a new player... Mark Adrian! He's a doctor from San Diego, practicing internal medicine. He deals with the indigent population of San Diego, so he doesn't get paid that much. He needs the money to pay off student loans...

He'll play for that and then some. Remember when I said that the pay-to-play was going up? Here it comes! The $1,000,000 is now $1,500,000! Your new board is...
