"Episode 4" - December 22

The worldwide phenomenon has taken America by force as we enter night 4 of "Deal or No Deal" with the customary Detail of the 26. That's a sexy detail. Amy Ditbrenner walked last night with $201,000, while follow-up contestant Daryl Johnson closed a deal for $99,000. How will our first player, Traci Wilkerson, fare? She's a teacher from Devine, TX with a thing for wienerdogs. She ends up with case #18, as Donna delivers said case.

Six to go...

Case 3 (Lisa) $300,000
Case 8 (Patricia) $500
Case 4 (Lindsay) Penny case!
Case 13 (Leyla) $75,000
Case 15 (Bonnie-Jill) $750
Case 25 (Angel) $10,000

Six of the seven big amounts are still on the board. And we have our first ring of the night...

Bank offer:  $9,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

If Traci passes on the offer, she must remove five cases in the next round.  Of course Traci says "No deal!", saying it's a lot but not enough. Five to go.

Case 14 (Dawn) $200,000
Case 16 (Kim) $50,000
Case 10 (Marisa) $100,000

Traci: This is just not going well!
Howie: You hit a bad streak... yet you laugh.

Case 17 (Kasie) $400
Case 7 (Sara) $1

Phone rings again. "I'll get it." Howie thinks the bank is scared, as the four largest amounts are still on the board. After a tease, we get the offer of...

Bank offer:  $28,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000

$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

She consults her loved ones, mom Linda (who lives in either San Diego or Ramona), boss and uncle George (who has a collar on), and best friend Ruth. George says "no deal". Also on hand is her entire class! Sophia thinks it's a lot of money. Joshua doesn't want Traci to stop now. Traci... "No deal." Four to go.

Case 24 (Lindsay) $10
Case 6 (Megan) $5,000
Case 9 (Claudia) $400,000

Traci starts squealing

Case 21 (Tameka) Tameka fakes her out...

$5

The million is still up... And the banker is in with the next offer.

Bank offer:  $58,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000

$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

The kids are in the stands chanting "No deal!" And that's exactly what Traci goes with. "No deal!" Three to go.

Case 11 (Jill) $750,000

Grimacing ensues.

Case 1 (Mylinda) $1,000
Case 12 (Amie) Howie wants to see what's in the case right now... as in after the break... And after the break we get...

$75

The banker rings again with... a lot of money. "Different to everyone."

Bank offer:  $75,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Mom says "No deal." The class says "No deal." Traci says "No deal." Two to go.

Case 26 (Pilar) $100
Case 19 (A.J.) Traci: I've been wanting to see 25 for a while now. PLEASE!

$25,000

Not a bad pick. One out of three chance that Traci is holding at least $500,000. Howie's doing the math in his head. The banker is doing the math on a computer, and his computer says... Six figures!

Bank offer:  $113,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Impossible to knock out both amounts in the next round. Ruth notes that. Uncle George says "Go for it." The class starts chanting... "No deal!" One to go.

Case 22 (Joni) $25!

Traci starts kissing her good luck bracelet, as she says thank you and hello to the person who made it for her, Guillermo. He couldn't be here today. Aww... Now to the banker. "Can I answer it?" Traci asks. "No, I have to," Howie says. "It's a union deal." Which means it's time for another break. Afterwards, Howie has a sit-down with the loved ones, telling Linda what the deal is...

Bank offer:  $199,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

A lot of money. There's a four out of five chance that Traci will hit anything other than a million. "Risk taking is in your genes!" Uncle George shouts. Traci discreetly closes the case. No deal! One to go...

Case 5 (Kristal) $300

Now a 50/50 chance that Traci is holding one of the large amounts! "I betcha Guillermo can get a lot for bracelets now!" Then the banker calls. "You're in trouble, I can tell." Looks like Traci has the banker by the balls now as Sophia and Joshua get word of ... the largest amount the banker has EVER offered.

Bank offer:  $275,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Now a three out of four chance to avoid the million with one case to open. The loved ones decide on one more go. Traci is all jittery...

"No deal."

No teacher in America has ever given up on $275,000. But the odds are in her favor with 2, 20, and 23 remaining. The kids want to say 2... She goes with

Case 23 (Nancy) Nancy: I feel good.

Then a break... Then another break...

$500,000

But if she had to lose a big amount, she picked the right one. Now there's a two out of three chance that Traci is holding the million. The banker is back with this offer... Lower, but still big.

Bank offer:  $267,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

A two out of three shot at missing the $1 million. George is a huge risk taker... "But deal!" Traci starts to jitter again. The class wants her to continue... "It's an enormous amount. I'd be very happy with it, so I'm going to say deal!" Deal done for $267,000! Had she gone on...

Case 2 (Stacy) $1,000,000

Had she gone on with the kids' choice, she would've lost the million! I'd call that a GREAT deal. She only had $200 in her case.

Now to a new player, as we reshuffle and welcome Venus Bernardo. This spunky lady is a loan officer (so she plays this game each and every day). She wants to go back east to open a restaurant with her sister. Venus picks 26, Pilar's case. So Pilar's case is now Venus' case. Six to go...

Case 24 (Lindsay) $300,000
Case 16 (Kim) $5
Case 18 (Donna) Penny case!
Case 25 (Angel) $200,000
Case 8 (Patricia) $100
Case 7 (Sara) $500,000

Venus: But you know what?

Yeah, he knows what. The million is still in play, and the banker is not willing to give it up without a fight.

Bank offer:  $9,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

If Venus passes on the offer, she must remove five cases in the next round. "Well... NO DEAL!" Five to go.

Case 5 (Kristal) $25,000

Venus: That's alright! That's okay!

Case 17 (Kasie) $100,000

Venus: That's not good!

Case 22 (Joni) $500
Case 19 (AJ) $750
Case 2 (Stacy) $400,000

Not a good round, but the million is still there on the board. Even more so, the million could be there in the case.

Bank offer:  $19,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

That's a lot of money to think about... so we'll give her a lot of time to think about it. Check back tomorrow to see if she gives up $19,000 for the chance at a million!
