Week 6:
It's Lucky You Have Candy... Ooh, Is That Taffy?
October 31
It must be Monday...and it's Halloween. What are
these 6 couples doing? It's because they got an individual dance first and
later, you'll see a team dance. So with that, take off your costume and watch
now.
Up first, David & Kym doing a cha-cha to "Abracadabra" by The Steve Miller Band.
Kym came out of sparks and did spinning of her own. But by the end, David got
tangles in spiderwebs. Now let's sling to the judges. Carrie Ann said his
improvement is phenomenal, Len said he turned himself into a dancer and Bruno
said he's a natural in turning tricks. Now let's treat ourself into the
scoreboard...
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Round 1 Score: 24
Next is J.R. & Karina doing a tango to "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker, Jr. J.R.
was scared by everything especially Karina in a scary costume. By the end came,
he used his proton pack. Now we get to the judges. Carrie Ann they captured the
tone perfectly, Len said it was substandard and Bruno said he's swept away by
the ghost of beauty. NOw let's clean up the numbers!
CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Round 1 Score: 25
3rd is Nancy & Tristan doing a jive to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by the
Charlie Daniels Band. Nancy put on her devil horns on and it was devilishly
nice. Now let's play nice with the judges. Carrie Ann said it was not so good,
Len said it wasn't a good dance and Bruno said the footwork was devilish. Now
the angelically good scoreboard...
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7 ROund 1 Score: 21
We know what happened to Kim Kardashian's divorce news recently, but we won't
talk about it, because instead, it's her brother Rob doing a tango to "The
Addams family" theme. And I won't talk about Kendall's sweet 16th televised
birthday party either. Both played the role of Gomez & Morticia and getting
towards the end, Cheryl did a foot drag and Rob revealed the hand which is
"Thing." Let's do the judges thing, already. Carrie Ann said he started dancing
with Morticia and became cousin Itt by the end, Len thought he did a terrific
job and Bruno said he looks like a man. Let's look at the numbers...
CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 25
5th goes to Ricki & Derek doing a paso doble to "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce. Ricki
played Little Red Riding Hood and Derek scared the heck out of Ricki. That
turned from a chase into a dance. Derek played around with a cape and tossed it
out and Ricki even took her red shirt off too. Now we take off with the judges.
Carrie Ann said her shaping is so gorgeous, Len said her shapes are fantastic
and Bruno said it was a blizzard of passion and fear. Let's get a score
forecast....
CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 27
And to end the first half, Hope & Maks doing a samba to "Werewolves of London"
by Warren Zevon. Maks threw some projectiles into the crowd and they did clock
steps halfway through the dance. Time to get to the judges. Carrie Ann said it
took her back to the Toy Story Foxtrot, Len said it coped well with a difficult
dance and Bruno said it had better timing, placement & finish. Let's finish the
first half with this...
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 24
Halfway home and the scores look like this....Ricki in the lead so far with 27,
Rob & J.R. with 25, tied for 3rd are Hope and David with 24 and nancy still in
it with 21. This year marks the 25th anniversary of WWE's Survivor Series and to
help ceelbrate, DWTS is doing a team dance. One team does the tango while
another does the paso doble. Let's get to the dancing!!!
TEAM DANCE
First, Team Tango dancing to "Disturbia" by Rihanna. Free from their cage, Nancy
& Tristan went up first and David & Kym had to go next meaning that J.R. &
Karina went dead last. By the end, they all went back in the cage, but not
before they get 23 for their efforts, meaning that J.R has 48, Nancy has 44 and
David with 47.
Team Paso Doble are up next dancing to "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence. All
get dragged out with lanterns and formed 2 circles. After that, Rob & Cheryl
went first. Soon afterwards, Hope & Maks went next meaning that Ricki & Derek
got the last solo. The score was 26 meaning that Ricki gets 53, Hope with 50 and
Rob with 51.
