4: It's Lucky To Wear Your 3D Glasses For This
October 10
It's about time you went to the movies to hear music
from Hans Zimmer, Hohn Williams, Christophe Beck and many others as we begin
"Movie Score Night" on DWTS. Watch the action....witness the adventure....and
maybe have some comedy or two. Get ready, 'cause it's lights...camera....action!
Take 1 as in our first couple Chynna & Tony doing a tango to the "Mission:
Impossible" theme. Tony was hanging from the ceiling and Chynna came in with
smoke coming in from the floors. By the end, she went over to the judges table.
Now, take a few steps and listen to them. Carrie Ann said it lost her place, Len
said it went wrong and Bruno said it lost the plot. But we find these numbers:
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7 Total Score: 21
Off to a good start!
Take 2 as in David & Kym doing "Raiders March" from the "Indiana Jones" series.
David swung through the vine and came in to rescue Kym and cracked the whip like
Indy did. Both did arm work and back jumps before Kym slid through. Now we get
the judges. Carrie Ann said he had sudden bravado in his dance, Len said the
rest was like the Temple of doom and Bruno loved the way he cracked that whip.
Can he crack into the lead? Let's see.
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 23
And they whip into the lead!
Take 3 as in Carson & Anna doing "The Black Pearl" from "Pirates Of the
Caribbean." They played pirates and a gesture sword fight had begun. Both had
kicks and Carson did a "Christian-like" gesture. By the end, Anna did a floor
sweep and both went upstairs to hoist the pink pirate flag, because we're in
October in honor of Breast Cancer awareness month. And that's enough. On to the
judges. Carrie Ann said it was the most butch performance, Len said it was great
fun and Bruno referenced teh 5th pirates movie in his own way. i don't want to
tell it, but what I want to tell you is the scores and they are....
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 7 Total Score: 20
Sent to the basement!
Take 4 as in Nancy & Tristian doing a paso doble to "Flash Gordon" by Queen. One
highlight you might find is Nancy lying on the floor for a few seconds before
arm interactivity came into play. And we go to the judges. Carrie Ann said she
needs to connect to teh audience, Len said it's not exicting and Bruno said she
has to become a ball breaker out there. A ball breaker? I don't know what that
is, but I know what doesn't need a break....
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7 Total Score: 21
It's a tie for 2nd place.
Take 5....Hope & Maks doing a foxtrot to "You Got a Friend In Me" by Randy
Newman. In it, they play 2 cowboys as in Woody & Jessie from "Toy Story." Maks
was nice to borrow a red bouquet of flowers from Hope and both threw cowboy hats
away. Hope did a foot drag and that of course, was it. Here's the judges on that
story. Carrie Ann said she made them smile the whole way through, Len said they
could go all the way in the competition and Bruno said it was so lovely. And the
scoreboard says....
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 24
and they leap into 1st place!
Take 6...for Rob & Cheryl doing a paso doble to the theme from "Superman." Rob
drags Cheryl and getting near the end, Cheryl did a floor spin and Rob reveals
his own Superman costume just by opening his suit jacket. Let's open up with the
judges. Carrie Ann said he likes the way he moves, Len said he didn't mind it
and Bruno said it's time to leave Smallville and take on the world. Now let's
take on the numbers...
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 24
They tie for way up top!
Take 7....Ricki & Derek dance to the theme from "Psycho." Although the beginning
was scary for little kids watching this program, everything was morbid including
the final scene at the end. Now let's go to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was
Brilliant in the ballroom, Len said she delivers like the US Mail and Brunosaid
it was a blockbuster performance. Will Ricki's gold run continue? The numbers
say....
CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 10 Total Score: 29
They leapfrog into the lead!
Take 8...Chaz & Lacey get ready to do a paso doble to "Gonna Fly Now" from
"Rocky." They act like boxers and Lacey did a floor spin. By the end, Chaz did
his own art gallery running scene. Now we get the judges. Len said it was the
best dance to date, Bruno said he keeps fighting back and Carrie Ann cried at
that. Ready for the scores? I am.
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7 Total Score: 21
It's now a 3-way tie for 4th place.
Take 9...the last couple is J.R. & Karina doing a foxtrot to "The Pink Panther"
by Henry Mancini. In keeping with the spirit of October, J.R. wore a pink dress
and by the end, J.R. got the diamond to Cheryl. Hope nothing was stolen. Now to
the judges. Carrie Ann said it fell a little flat, Len said it was fabulous and
Bruno said he can do more what he wants. All we want is the scoreboard...
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 9 BRUNO; 9 Total Score: 26
They get 2nd place.
And....CUT! The final scores are: Ricki with 29, J.R. with 26, Rob & Hope with
24, 23 goes to David, Chynna, Chaz and Nancy with 21 and Carson with 20.
Tomorrow night, you'll see which couple ended up on the cutting room floor in
the results show. See you at the video arcade in the balcony.CLICK
