Dumb
Did Us In Last week, the Racers flew to Malaysia, where Jet & Cord had a history-making run, overcoming a Speed Bump to take first place. Steve & Allie came up short, and were eliminated. That leaves us with four teams as the Race continues form Penang. PIT STOP After their break, which was very well deserved, Jet & Cord head out with this...
One by one, the teams leave for the bus station. Jet & Cord are the first ones there and take the first bus to Kuala Lumpur. Carol & Brandy leave on the second. The rest of the teams leave on the third. On the bus, they plot to "get the girls" on the U-Turn. The next train to Singapore will leave at 9:30p. Everyone is on that train... a sleeper. Nice... SINGAPORE Brandy & Carol want to bully their way through... nothing doing. All teams depart and head to the concert hall to see Allan. Louie & Michael are the first to head out. Carol & Brandy are... second. JorDan are third. Brent & Caite are fourth, and once again Jet & Cord are behind. JorDan meet Allan Wu first, who hands them... THE ONLY FAST FORWARD ON THE RACE!
JorDan will play for the Fast Forward! Meanwhile, all the other teams go inside the theatre... where Allan is NOT located. Louie & Michael AND Jet & Cord find Allan and this clue.
Jet & Cord pound the drums... as do Louie & Michael. The other two teams follow suit. The drum set is a bit complex.... so much that Jet & Cord can't follow the rhythm. Caite can follow the rhythm. This should be easy for them. The cops decide to do the Fast Forward. Speaking of, JorDan have just discovered something... an intense fear of heights. Louie & Michael also discover something... the Fast Forward in Progress sign. Jordan begins his climb as Brent & Caite drum up a storm. Jet & Cord... don't. Back at the Singapore Flyer, JorDan end up on a Wheel of Fortune.
The cops start selling ice cream. Crazy American Ice Cream! Jet & Cord get ready to start drumming... and stop to go back and practice. Brent & Caite... succeed!
Meanwhile... PIT STOP Phil and the happy local greet JorDan as Team #1! They get a pair of motorbikes for winning... but they're not going to use them. Mom would kill'em. Back at Louie & Michael's crazy ice cream cart... they sell multiples. At the park, Brent & Caite discover a U-Turn... and in the king of all foregone conclusions...
NEXT CLUE!
Back at the Ice Cream cart, Louie & mike sell 10 to their cab driver! That gets them the ticket to the park. Brandy & Carol start drumming... Get their ticket to the park, where they find...
The other teams get...
Brent decides to count it up, and he soon realizes that the shipyard is very VERY noisy. Brandy & Carol start the other half of the Detour, while Brent & Caite get...
Jet & Cord head to the shipyards, while Carol & Brandy continue to sell ice cream. Louie & Michael break out the secret weapon: the pitch counter. Carol & Brandy finish the Detour and head back on the course, while Brent & Caite find the Mega-Zip...
Let's go for a ride, huh? Okay, let's get a clue...
Michael & Louie forget their clipboard, while the other teams keep on counting. ... and now they can't find a cab. Meanwhile, at the Pit Stop, Brent & Caite arrive as Team #2. Once the Cowboys zipline to the end, they end up taking the three-spot. So it's a fight to avoid last place. Who's coming in for a hard landing? The lesbians want to be fast. The cops... "Drive it like you stole it." And in the end.... MICHAEL & LOUIE.... are still in the Race! They're Team #4. That leaves Carol & Brandy. The bad news... they're the last team to arrive. The even worse news... they're ELIMINATED. Hopefully they'll get over the drama and the stupidity and carry on, but for now, their Amazing Race will end in Singapore. (C-NOTE: Due to the ACM Awards next week, the Amazing Race will resume in two weeks)
