We Are
No Longer in the Bible Belt Last time, the Racers crossed the Andes into Argentina. Cowboys Jet & Cord held onto their lead to take another leg, while lesbian couple Carol & Brandy strained their relationship. But it was the Legal Moms Monique & Shawne that found themselves struggling throughout the leg, coming in last. Now the Race continues with eight. PIT STOP Jet & Cord take some time to check out their vacation from the last leg. Twelve hours later, they'll just... check out.
Jet & Cord stop at a travel agency and book tickets for the earliest flight, 11:10a. The rest of the teams show up at the airport the next morning. Everyone will fly to Buenos Aires to start. On the flight to FRANKFURT

via Sao Paulo FRANKFURT, GERMANY The first flight arrives at 2:35p local time, as Jet & Cord and Louie & Michael take the first train to Hamburg. The second flight arrives, and they have to book to make the same train. You have three minutes.... and they miss it. The third flight arrives. The second train arrives. HAMBURG, GERMANY And the Cowboys find the clue box first.
Jet and Michael decide to team up for this challenge. They head to the Metro for the harbor. Joe & Heidi team with Steve & Allie, as Allie and Joe enlist the help of a local to get to the subway. Then comes Dan and Brandy as our third intersected team, enlisting another helpful local. Finally, Caite and Jordan head to the harbor... on the wrong train. Jet & Mike are the first to the bungee cranes. Jet decides that he's not losing his hat to this bungee. And... sure enough, he doesn't! "A real cowboy's hat never comes off!" They get their clue and head back. Joe & Allie are next to take a jump, followed by Dan & Brandy, and bringing up the rear, the two dumb blondes Caite & Jordan.
Louie & Michael are the first to the statue, where they find...
The Cops go with sauerkraut. They figure they'll have no problem downing a plate of sauerkraut. And sure enough... they do.
Back at the Intersection, JorDan and Brandy & Carol are reunited, while the other teams rush to find the statue. The Cowboys go with soccer, as do Joe & Heidi and Steve & Allie. At the Haifischbar, the cops down a boot of beer. At the field, Joe & Heidi get changed while Steve & Allie start kicking. Joe's knee is killing him. Brent & Caite head for sauerkraut, as do Jeff & Jordan. Steve & Allie finish the Detour and head to the bar. Joe & Heidi "lane-switch" after having no success with their balls. The Cowboys then kick the soccerball around. Louie chugs... Empty beer!
JorDan go to the soccer field, while Carol & Brandy eat sauerkraut. Jeff & Jordan think that they're being taken for a ride by their cabbie...and it isn't to the burgerplace. Louie & Michael find the Beatles-Platz and search through the pubs, clubs, and sex shops for... PIT STOP ... Phil and the Fab Four. They take first place! And for their trouble, a Discover gift card worth $5000! Steve downs a boot of beer, while Jet & Cord bend it like... I don't know any famous cowboy soccer players, sorry, then head to the bar to drink, drink, drink. Steve & Allie make their way to Beatles-Platz and find the bar to clock in at second. Joe & Heidi start eating sauerkraut. EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY. Carol & Brandy... start eating... and have a bit of trouble finishing. Dan & Jordan kick balls. Nice form. At the bar, Jet takes one for the team. At the Pit Stop, Steve & Allie arrive in second. Joe & Heidi finish their beer, while Jet & Cord are still working on theirs. Jeff & Jordan get their sauerkraut.. and it proves to be more than Jordan can handle. THEY lane-switch. Caite reveals that she's played football soccer since she was five... but can't get it to go as a pain shoots up her leg. Joe & Heidi arrive in third. Cord... gets laughed at before getting their clue. Brent & Caite finish the Detour... and it occurs to me that Caite is underage, so Brent will have to finish the beer boot.... ... but not before the Cowboys lock in the 4-spot. Back on the field, Jeff shows he's a natural athlete. Carol & Brandy are in fifth. JorDan arrive in sixth. Now it's a race to avoid elimination between the US Americans and the Heads of Household. But first, Brent pukes. College kid. At the Red Light District... it's going to be... Brent & Caite in seventh. Which leaves Jeff & Jordan, bringing up the rear in eighth. The GOOD news is that this is the first non-elimination leg of the Race. The bad news is that the next leg has a Speed Bump. They're the underdogs, but they live to fight another day.
