March 28

Last week, the Racers continued their own Tour de France, where champagne was the order of the day, from looking for it to pouring it to stacking on top of it. Big Brother housemates Jeff & Jordan were evicted from further play when they came to the Pit Stop last. Now the Race continues with six.

PIT STOP
CHAMPAGNE-ARDENNE, FRANCE
L'ORRCA
0035 LOCAL TIME

Louie & Michael were the first to arrive, so after 12 hours, they get going with this...

ROUTE INFO

MAKE YOUR WAY TO MAHE!

Fly to the island of Mahe in the Seychelles! Upon landing, search on foot for the kiosk where you will grab a number AND your next clue.

WARNING! Due to the remote location of the island, all teams will take the same flight.

It should be noted that the correct pronunciation is "say-SHELL".

MAHE, SEYCHELLES

Brent & Caite are the first off the plane. And the first to the kiosk. And the first to read this.

ROUTE INFO

MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE ISLAND OF LA DIGUE!

The first three teams will take a helicopter to the Island of La Digue in the Seychelles! The second three will depart one hour later. Once there, you'll find your next clue.

FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!

And here come the choppers!

FIRST HELICOPTER FLIGHT
Brent & Caite
Steve & Allie
JorDan

SECOND HELICOPTER FLIGHT (departing 1 hour later)
Carol & Brandy
Jet & Cord
Louie & Michael

Brent & Caite are the first to land and get...

DETOUR

TURTLE TODDLE or OX TROT?

TURTLE TODDLE: Using only a banana, lure a giant tortoise - over 100 years old and over 500 pounds - across the lawn to a marker, then grab a large bunch of bananas, carry them a mile and a half to the harbor, and deliver them to the fruit merchant to receive your next clue.

OX TROT: Bring a cart to a clearing, where you must load it up with coconuts without losing any cargo. Then the ox-handler will attach an ox to the cart. Deliver the coconuts to the harbor, where the fruit merchant will give you your next clue.

Brent & Caite decide to do a little ox-carting. Steve & Allie, on the other hand, go turtle baiting. To music, no less! JorDan lands and heads to the oxen. Both leading teams have no problem with their animals... but Brent & Caite lost a coconut. Meanwhile, Steve & Allie get the quickest tortoise ever created. A little too quick, as they forget their bags on the way to the merchant.

JorDan have all their coconuts lined in a row. Unfortunately their ox has to go BM before going to the merchant.

Louie & Michael load up coconuts. Carol & Brandy lure tortoises. Jet & Cord follow the cops.

Steve & Allie are first to arrive at the harbor...

ROUTE INFO

HIT THE WAVES!

Swim to one the marked schooners and sail to St. Pierre Island, where the boatmaster will give you your next clue.

Dan & Jordan get the same clue, but Brent & Caite... are De, wait for it... NIED. They forgot a coconut. A little better than forgetting your backpack with all your clothes. They have their money and passports, BUT they don't have their clothes. That's fun. Meanwhile, Brent... up and quits.

And then he gets back on his ox-cart and looks for a coconut. Back at the turtle toddle, Carol & Brandy's tortoise has eaten his banana. Something wrong with that.

Steve & Allie get to the buoy and get...

ROADBLOCK

TIME TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH!

Time to go diving for treasure. Dive off the boat and find a submerged case of seven bottles, figure out how to untie one of them, then bring one of the seven up to the surface. Then with your teammate, work on a puzzle to find a map to your most valued treasure... the Pit Stop for this leg of the Race. WARNING! The last team to check in MAY BE ELIMINATED!

Steve dives, while Carol & Brandy lose their turtle. Steve comes up with the bottle as Jordan takes a dive. And then comes back up. Then goes back down again.... and drops the bottle. Smart, Jordan.

PIT STOP
PRASLIN, SEYCHELLES

Steve & Allie come in first... They get an ocean-side dinner for now... and $7000 from 7up for later! And a whole lot of 7up to drink. JorDan comes up right behind at #2.

Louie & Michael head to the waters, while the rest of the teams go ox-racin'. Only on the Race, folks. Brent & Caite get a clue, while the Cowboys are forced to go back and find a missing piece of cargo somewhere. No argue, just Cowboy Up and go back.

Carol & Brandy... leave without all of their coconuts.

(C-Note: A special hello to everyone out there tuning in for "Undercover Boss")

Brent goes diving for bottles. Mike follows suit, but his bottle breaks. Woops.

Jet & Cord find their coconut and head to the water. In board shorts. Hard to picture a cowboy in board shorts.

Did we mention that Louie can't swim? Meanwhile, Jet & Cord get their bottle, Brandy & Carol go for a ride, and the other two teams... are slow swimming to the shore. Those two help each other out and get to the Pit Stop, Brent & Caite in third, and Louie & Michael in fourth. And both teams want Carol & Brandy gone. It's "anonymous" amongst the teams.

Jet & Cord forget their bottle on the ship. Lot of people forgetting things this leg. They are the fifth to arrive, but they need that bottle! That allows Brandy & Carol to sneak in and snatch the 5 spot.

Jet & Cord get the bottle, but they're the last team to arrive... The GOOD news is that they're still in the Race. The BAD news is that they're going to run into a Speed Bump in the next leg. Can they make up for lost time? Stay tuned..
