I Think
We're Fighting the Germans, Right? Last time, the Racers went from the mountainous countryside of South America to the relatively flat and urban landscape of Germany, where an Intersection had teams teaming up with each other on the Roadblock. Cops Louie & Michael ate, drank, and were merry as the first team at the Pit Stop. Heads of Household Jordan & Jeff were the last team to arrive, but they will face a Speed Bump sometime tonight as the Race continues from Hamburg. PIT STOP After the end of the leg, the teams boarded a bus for destinations known only to God, Phil, and Jerry Bruckheimer. Joe's knee is still hampering him. This morning, Louie & Michael leave from... well, all we know is that it is in France, a town called... LES MONTHAIRONS, FRANCE
Jet & Cord... don't know what a baguette is. Louie & Michael are the first into town, but can they find the bakery? On the first try, dude...
Louie & Michael think they're going to get a massage. It's more of a barrage, but more on that later. Steve & Allie arrive and get a baguette, with Joe & Heidi following suit. Louie & Michael arrive at Massiges, where they find...
Everyone is going Under Fire, and all hell is breaking loose outside. Two hours since Louie & Michael left, the final team, Jeff & Jordan, are let loose. And almost instantaneously, they get lost. Big Ben. Parliament. The Cops get their message: "The war is over: Vive la liberte!" Now to get back to base with it. JorDan and Carol & Brandy... and Jet & Cord crawl. Louie & Michael get their next clue...
They do so and arrive at...
The Cops remember what Joe said on the bus: that he doesn't fear any competition. Well, guess what... Louie & Michael fear them, so... THEY'RE U-TURNED!
Brent & Caite marvel at the amazing men in their flying machines. Meanwhile, Jet & Cord, Brandy & Carol, and Steve & Allie HIT THE DECK! Back in St. Menehould, it doesn't occur to Jeff to eat the baguette that he just bought. Silly Big Brother housemate. Steve & Allie head to the U-Turn... and then to the next clue. Joe & Heidi follow suit... and... "Somebody got you."
The Cops arrive at the church and get this.
The cops dress down... then dress up... and then cycle off! A bike ride is a lot better than a dirt crawl, isn't it? Joe & Heidi arrive at the station and decode their message: "We will prevail, Vive la France." Jeff & Jordan... still lost. Joe & Heidi get a drive to complete the Detour seeing all the other teams do so. Meanwhile, Steve & Allie start pedaling. PIT STOP Crossing the finish line first... Louie & Michael. Dancing Phil and the dancing happy local. They take first and a pair of 55" HDTVs! That's two in a row! Jet & Cord pass JorDan on the field. They take the bikes... "This is why I like horses more than bikes... you don't have to pedal a horse." Steve & Allie come in second, while Jet & Cord take third and JorDan take fourth. Jeff & Jordan arrive at Massiges, but before they can go any further...
Carol & Brandy take fifth, while Jordan & Jeff... adjust themselves. Brent & Caite start pedaling... As for Joe & Heidi... they're still in the trenches trying to figure out what the heck they're trying to say. Brent & Caite take down the 6 spot.... OR DO THEY? They didn't pick up the clue after their Detour, so they must pick it up before they can officially check in. Joe & Heidi... have to try again. Jeff & Jordan... get the Detour Clue. Brent & Caite get their next clue and head BACK to the Pit Stop, as Jeff & Jordan crawl to a dead stop... or at least that's what it seemed like. They get their message, but not before wanting to kill each other. Once again, Joe & Heidi... miss the message. So now it's a race to avoid last. Brent & Caite officially take down the 6 spot. Jordan & Jeff.... are in seventh! That leaves Joe & Heidi, still stuck at their U-Turn. General Phil takes the field and informs them of the bad news, eliminating them on the spot. Joe's not happy, but that's part of the game. He is impressed with his wife and is very proud of her. Unfortunately, the Wangs' Amazing Race will end in France.
