Starts with an "F", That's All I'm Saying Last time, the Racers arrived in Prague, and were ready for some high adventure... and some low tactics (stealing a cab, maybe?). And after taking in a day at the opera, Ericka & Brian arrived at the Pit Stop in last place. As the last leg was a non-elimination leg, the two will encounter a Speed Bump sometime in the course of this leg, which continues our journey through the Czech capital. PIT STOP Twelve hours after their initial arrival, the adventure continues for Meghan & Cheyne with this...
Once there, Meghan & Cheyne find this clue...
Sam & Dan are on their way out of the gate first, while Meghan & Cheyne are already two clues ahead...
What's Meghan doing? She's going inside to take on the room. She gets three letters, R as in rabbit, Z as in zebra, and F as in ferret. Once Flight Time & Big Easy get out of the gate... Meghan gets an N, but can't figure out an animal with an N in its name. Or A for that matter. She gets all five letters, and then she gets a form with a really .... kafkaesque questionnaire designed to throw you off. Her first attempt... FAILURE. Second attempt... SUCCESS! So as Dan & Sam arrive, Meghan & Cheyne leave with...
Sam & Dan think that they're going to steal THEIR cab, so they tell the cabbie not to move for anyone else. He didn't say not to call another cab, though. So Meghan & Cheyne are on their way to the Kryocentrum Brian & Ericka are capable of overcoming the Speed Bump. They know how to come back. But can they? The Trotters arrive at the Roadblock, and Big goes in to take it on. Dan fails the first try at the Roadblock. Meanwhile, Meghan & Cheyne get...
Cheyne & Meghan get cool, while Brian & Ericka get...
Dan... still can't figure out the five-letter word. Neither can Big. They figure... might as well work together. Meghan & Cheyne endure the cold and move onto this...
Dan and big... still have no idea what the word is... Meanwhile, Brian & Ericka have to get their drink on. Brian... doesn't drink. He'll drink tonight if he wants to go to the top three. ... Smooth... Now that they have the Czech people's blessing (and alcohol), they go to the museum... in time for Dan to solve the puzzle. Big asks for the response... "It starts with an 'F', that's all I'm saying." I guess they're back to being enemies. Brian goes into the museum and searches for letters. Meghan & Cheyne make it to the bridge and get...
Meghan & Cheyne go do the golem, while Sam & Dan go get frozen. Brian continues going around answering phones until he gets his letters. He tries and... DENIED. Meghan & Cheyne start building their golem. They decide to lay him on its back. I don't think it's kosher, but whatever works at this point. Sam & Dan come in from the cold and go to the bridge. Brian goes with a stone guess... and it pays off. They're going to the Kryocentrum next. AND he did it drunk! Flight & Big decide that they've been here long enough and take a penalty. The rules of The Amazing Race state in the event that a team is unable to complete a Roadblock, they must take a time penalty of four hours before they are allowed to resume the Race. They say that this was a benefit to their team, but is it? Meghan & Cheyne finish their golem. Sam & Dan go start theirs... and golem fall down go boom... Brian & Ericka... get cold. Ericka is not a winter baby. And it shows. "My ankles are frozen!" They come out of it and head to the bridge. Meghan & Cheyne are drained by the sheer weight of their golem. Brian & Ericka decide to serve beer as Meghan & Cheyne meet the rabbis... and the rabbis bless them with this...
Sam & Dan have an argument about how to tackle dragging the golem through the street. Then a taxi comes and the problem solves itself. At the other Detour, Brian teaches Ericka the proper mount for a platter of eight beers. Once they get the hang of it, in comes a parade of soccer hooligans. PIT STOP Meghan & Cheyne are the first to meet Phil and the happy (and hot) local. They are team #1! Not only have they won an HDTV each, but they will be the first team to head to the finish line for $1 million in the final leg! Back at the Roadblock, Flight and Big are busy laughing the task off... Brian serves his beer, but Ericka drops all of hers... She wants to do the other one. But they press on. Little do they know that the streets of Prague are full of drunks at night. Sam & Dan are still fighting their way to the synagogue, while more drunks decide to mooch off of Brian's tray. Sam & Dan arrive at the synagogue, and even with the arm coming out, it's good enough for the clue! Brian & Ericka are... still getting hit on. Sam & Dan arrive at the Pit Stop in second! They'll also be racing for the million. The next day brings the next sunrise. Flight & Big have served their penalty time and are headed to the Kryocentrum, while Brian & Ericka serve their final beer. Brian & Ericka.... are the third team to arrive. That makes them team #3... And at the Kryocentrum, the Trotters are met with the go-directly-to-the-Pit-Stop-do-not-pass-go-do-not-collect-$1,000,000 clue. Unfortunately, this is how the Race will end for them. But they have no regrets as we see their greatest hits, fittingly put to "Sweet Georgia Brown". Next time, the sprint to a million begins...
