Finals:
Cooper/LaPorte/Elias-Pushett - PART 2
March 2
It's been one wild ride for the final
three, but now we arrive at the finals with the three strongest players
this year has to offer... senior Raynell Cooper, junior Raya Elias-Pushett,
and sophomore Kailyn LaPorte. One of them is going to be $75,000 richer
at the end of this two-day final.
Last time, Raynell and Kailyn fought to a
dead heat, leaving Raya with a heck of a hill to climb, but it's a
two-day final, and nothing is guaranteed, save $15,851 and $25,000 for
third and second respectively.

Daily Double: $600 4-Syllable Words.
With the lead, Raya is in the most need with $4200 to bet. And she's going
all-in on this. She knows that she needs as much help as she can get. The clue:
when speaking about matters of faith, "Ex Cathedra", the Pope is said to be
this, meaning he can't be wrong. After she counts the syllables on her
fingers... "What is infallible?" FOR THE DOUBLER WITH $8400!

Daily Double #1: $1600 Botany. Raya
just ekes back into the lead with $9600 to Raynell's $9200. Raya bets her lead
on this: varieties of this flower include Leen Van Der Mark, Orange Emperor &
Apeldoorn. "What is rose?" No, it was the tulip, leaving her tied with Raynell
for the lead.
Daily Double #2: $2000 First Things
First. Raya still leads with $14,800. She bets $1800 on this: not surprisingly,
the first architecture department at a college was established at this
Boston-area school in 1865. "What is Harvard?" Nope, it was MIT, leaving her
with $13,000.

and is correct, he'll have a final score of $45,200. If Kailyn does
likewise, she will have a score of $47,400. And if Raya does likewise,
which she'll have to do to stand ANY chance of winning, she ends up with
$47,451.
THEREFORE it's
go-big-or-go-home time for all three players. If you want ANY hope of
taking the title, then Final Jeopardy! is MUST-WIN. Here's the cash. WHO
