Semifinals: Desai/Cooper/Wadman
February 28
For the last five days, the best and
brightest teenagers from all around the country gathered at Sony to
square off and pitch bout in the tradition of their gladiatorial
forbearers to determine who would play for a prize pool of over a
quarter-million, the winner getting $75,000. Where 15 once stood, now
only nine remain.
Winner of the tournament receives $75,000 and the right to be called this season's
Teen Champion. Second place gets $25,000. Third gets $15,000.
All semifinalists are guaranteed $10,000. All money will be determined, as
always, by how far the players go in the tournament.
We're in week two of our two-week affair,
meaning that it's win-or-go-home as the semifinalists fight for one of
only THREE seats in the $75,000 final.
Losers of this match get $10,000. Winner
gets Kailyn LaPorte and Raya Elias-Pushett.
