Episode 5.11 - Bosses & Employees 2012
July 10

On this special episode, 12 teams of bosses and their employees are competing to see who will win employee of the week and a salary of $50,000. It's the hardest job you'll ever fall for... literally.

Now this is going to be different from previous team episodes in that the two teams left in the Wipeout Zone will be split, and it will end up being everyone for themselves.

THE WIPEOUT QUALIFIER

Tonight, the Qualifier consists of..

- The Corporate Ladder... Watch out below, or one of the rungs will fall out from under you.
- The Big Balls... Flipping Motivator and Ballsy's Bonus in play. Anyone who knocks Count Smallsy off his perch on the fourth ball will win $500.
- The Poundabout. It's a scary-go-round.
- The Wipeout Laundromat. It'll wring out your white collar.

The 12 teams will take on the course, and the six with the fastest times will advance to stage 2. Time to punch in.

Also in the house, the USC Trojan Marching Band. Go Bruins. Because one of the teams is from USC.

ADVANCING TO ROUND 2
- Trojan men Matt Schaefert & Thomas Studdert
- Beauty & the Beast Mode Ashley Edling & Brandon Chiapuzio
- Mannequins Nikki Ward & Meg Bell
- Cool coaches Branden Kong & David Rios
- Los Spanglish Dan Flynn & Christy Tilllman
- Pranking pastors Rondi Poque & Jason Poznaks

THE SCAREGROUNDS

From the spinning platform, ride the trapeze through the maze of sweepers and revolving planks, but watch out for the Signwinder! Climb over the slide and onto the finish platform, and you're promoted to the next round. Only one team member needs to make it to the other side, but if both of them make it, it's a $1000 bonus!

ADVANCING TO ROUND 3
- Cool coaches Branden Kong & David Rios
- Los Spanglish Dan Flynn & Christy Tilllman - $1000 BONUS!

- Trojan men Matt Schaefert & Thomas Studdert

PETRIFIED FOREST

A zipline leads you to the forest, where you have to avoid the sweeper logs and the wrath of Bigfoot and Big Foot in the Tippy Trap. First two teams of boss and employee move on to the Wipeout Zone.

Remember, from the end of this stage, it's everyone for themselves.

THE WIPEOUT ZONE

Two teams become four individuals as we head into the Wipeout Zone and a run for $50,0000. Tonight in the Wipeout Zone...

- The Bombastic Blob.
- The Swing Blades.
- The Torrential Twister.
- The Tectonic Planks.

First up, Christy Tillman, who may be second in command at her work for a Spanish TV station, but she's first tonight. She makes quick work of the Torrential Twisters, but caught the Tectonic Planks moving in the opposite direction for her first Wipeout of the Zone. She ends up with a time of 8:40, impressive but a bit disappointing.

Her boss Dan Flynn... clocks in at 7:39.

Now it's up to the Coolest Track Coaches Ever, Branden Kong and David Rios. Branden has only one shot at the Tectonic Planks... and that's it for him.

Will employee David come through in the clutch? His final time... 4:10... DAVID RIOS WINS $50,000 AND THE TITLE OF WIPEOUT CHAMPION, scoring one for employees everywhere.

Next time, another $50,000 and another 24 brave, yet foolhardy souls to take on the course. Until then, good night.... and Big Balls.
