THE STORY SO FAR! They
survived the Blinds... They've conquered the Battles.
And they owned the Knockouts. Now the final 20 are
singing for America. Only one can be named the Voice.

No more steals. No more
saves. It's sing well... or go home. Performing tonight:
Team Adam & Team Blake. Team Christina & Team Cee-Lo
will perform TOMORROW.
But first... we have "How
I Feel" with Christina... and FLO RIDA!
Now to business... As
always, you can vote via phone, text (on Sprint networks
only), Facebook, NBC.com, or iTunes download. And the
iTunes Top 10 multiplier is in play.
First, SHELBIE Z admits
that she's not a size 2, which is part of the allure of
this competition. Since her audition and tonight, she
got married. Will that affect her fan standing? We'll
see after she delivers "Fancy" by Reba.
THEY SAY: Christina
thought she was a powerhouse, loving her growls. Cee-Lo
says she's consistently charismatic. Adam agrees. Blake
says that the way she handled herself makes him look
smart.
WE SAY: It's a song
that's been done before. It's a song that's been done
BETTER before. And it's been done at various decibel
levels before. Shelbie seems to have one decibel level:
LOUD. There's a difference between singing loud and
singing out. She'd be wise to learn it.
Next, Team Adam's calling
in IT with JAMES WOLPERT singing "Case of You" by Joni
Mitchell. He's gone from busking on the street to
singing at Universal Studios. But will he make top 12?
THEY SAY: Blake wonders
how he can be a geek "AND that awesome!" Christina was
impressed by his vocal range. Adam said that he bounced
back from his last performance, and there's something in
him that does something bold.
WE SAY: He's got a
variety of ranges and an ability to bring the best out
of a song. He's an example of telling the story and
emoting.
Now unless you've been
watching another network, you notice that Christina
Milian is not here. That's because she's dancing...
withthestars! So Carson is pulling double duty this
season.
Next up, an artist that
Blake stole from Adam, NIC HAWK. He's gone from musical
theatre to musical stage, from losing on Team Adam to
winning on Team Blake. There's more to this performer,
but will "the Flawk" see it on "Blurred Lines" by Robin
Thicke?
THEY SAY: Christina
thought it was a lot of fun. Cee-Lo thought that Nic had
amazing rhythm. Adam feels like an idiot for letting him
go. Blake thought that the singing could've been a
little bit better.
WE SAY: It's a good live
performance song. He's a good live performer for the
good live performance song. But if he concentrated more
on the vocal than the dancing and the rapping, he would
be a halfway-legitimate threat.
Staying with Team Blake,
we have RAY BOUDREAUX, bringing a bit of the bayou to
the Voice. Can he bring a bit of the bayou on a fellow
Louisianan's song, "Home" by Marc Broussard?
THEY SAY: Christina says
that this was the most connected he's ever been. Cee-Lo
thought "Sugar Ray" had real grit and a good connection
to the audience. Adam thought it was a great song
choice, and that Marc Broussard would be proud. Blake
says that he's in a position to bring awareness to the
"Delta Blues" sound.
WE SAY: This is a VERY
good fit for this singer. The bad thing is that he
didn't go anywhere with it until halfway in. But still,
VERY good performance.
STAYING FURTHER with Team
Blake, we have AUSTIN JENCKES, who's a veteran of the
club circuit. After his audition, he got a proclamation
and a street closing. Now it's up to America to see how
he does with the Black Crowes' "She Talks to Angels".
This is for his mom and his girlfriend.
THEY SAY: Christina
thought he had so much heart. Cee Lo thought he had a
lot of power on him. Adam was confused about back story.
Blake can always count on Austin to sing with "150
percent of what's in here every time."
WE SAY: Austin has good
control over his voice, and he delivers his performance
with the restraint of a seasoned professional. He had a
very solid vocal.
Next on Team Adam, it's
the poppy Floridian GREY. She's won every battle she's
ever faced, and she goes from strength to strength.
She's living her father's dream on stage tonight with
"Still Into You" by Paramore.
THEY SAY: Blake was
looking to steal Grey's dominance. Cee-Lo thought she
did a great job. Adam thought she took ownership of the
song.
WE SAY: It's the kind of
song you would see a girl like Grey singing. Just BETTER
is all. What is tonight's theme, simple songs sung as
badly as possible?
Speaking of steals, Team
Adam started with WILL CHAMPLIN... then he got stolen...
then Adam stole him back. Now the son of Chicago's Bill
Champlin is going to try and do his lineage proud with
"Secrets" by OneRepublic. This is going to his family,
especially to his wife who is recovering from a brain
tumor.
THEY SAY: Christina
thought it was beautiful but needed "a few more spots".
Cee-Lo loved the look of his vintage role. Adam says he
deserves to be here because he's a "player".
WE SAY: A great take on a
quiet favorite. It would've been better had he stayed at
the piano and just went all the way with it, but he had
to sing for votes. He probably would've gotten a few
more had he done so, because his energy swallows up the
rest of his voice.
Next up, it's a Texas
rocker, PRESTON POHL. He wanted to show people he can
sing. But can he show people he can win? His offering,
dedicated to his dad who is fighting cancer, is "Nothing
on You" by B.o.B featuring Bruno Mars.
THEY SAY: Blake thought
it was studly. Christina wants to know where he is going
from here. Cee Lo compliments yet another contestant.
Adam says he covered all the grounds.
WE SAY: Dude was
STRUGGLING from the singing to the rap.
Now we're going to
another Louisiana vocalist, COLE VOSBURY. Blake is going
to build off his steal with "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart.
Fun fact: Cole's beard has its own Twitter account.
THEY SAY: Christina
thought it was consistent. Cee Lo supports him. Adam
still regrets not turning around for him. Blake says
he's "truly that talented".
WE SAY: Cole has an
uphill battle going up against another Louisianan. He
could easily make top 12 if it weren't for him, because
this was about as real as it gets. No frills, no funny
business, just a simple song sung simply.
One more singer. It's
TESSANNE CHIN, the Jamaican powerhouse from Team Adam.
She started out singing background vocals for Jimmy
Cliff. Tonight, she's the star and she's in the closer
spot, and, thanks to some creative industry moves, all
of Jamaica is watching! Her closer tonight: "Many Rivers
to Cross" by Jimmy Cliff.
And don't even think
about voting if you are reading this from Jamaica. It
will. Not. Count.
THEY SAY: Christina says
she's amazing and incredible. Cee Lo channels Bob
Marley. Adam? "This woman... has a golden soul. It does
not get better than what you did."
WE SAY: She's in.
No doubt about it. She's IN.
So who's going into the
top 12 and who's going home. Find out Thursday.
Meanwhile, it's time for the others TOMORROW!
