Last week, Matsing continues its losing ways, as Malcolm, Russell, and Denise are all that remains. Abi finds Immunity, while Kalabaw may have its first alliance of the game with Jeff Kent and Penner. Meanwhile, Angie's poor play in the water at Immunity leaves her torch snuffed. And then, there was 15.

DAY 9: Another wet one.

The day begins with the sounds of silence... and rain... but mostly silence. Fire has come at a premium, with everything wet from the downpour of the morning. What else could possibly go wrong for this tribe? The only thing you need to do at this moment: put on a brave face. "This is not what I envisioned at all." Me neither, Denise. "My thoughts are on 'How do I stay here?' The minute I don't take all my stuff to Tribal will be the night I go home." Russell's continuing plan is to mount the greatest comeback in Survivor history. Remember, this is a man who will DIE to win this game. LITERALLY.

LATER THAT DAY...

The tribe muses over the smoker (day 3), the lunatic (day 6), and the beauty queen (day 8).... and by "the tribe", we mean Russell, who has no real spatial awareness... or internal filter. Where are they going when the bottom falls out? The fact that Russell doesn't know is giving him cause for concern.

Meanwhile, it's another day laid out in the camp. Russell on the other hand, is trying so hard to find that pesky Immunity Idol "somwhere in the beach" "right underneath your nose". And who should catch him but Denise... Uh oh. And he does a really crappy job of saving himself. "It planted a seed of "whataya doin'?"" Well put, Denise. The thing, though... Denise THINKS that Russell has the Idol. He doesn't. Not yet. Sure enough, Denise and Malcolm go looking for said Idol. It wasn't in his stuff, but Malcolm figures that it's time for a blindside.

DAY 11: REWARD/IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: SWING BREAK

Carry two pots of rice on a bamboo pole  through a series of obstacles until you have carried six. Then using a wrecking ball, smash the rice pots to pieces. First tribes to destroy their pots wins.

WIN: a steak dinner and Immunity.
PLACE: veggies and a pot and Immunity.
SHOW: a trip to see Jeff TONIGHT.

Miracle of miracles, Matsing is in the lead. ... They WERE in the lead until Denise started running. Tandang now in the lead, but Matsing in a strong second. Now it's wrecking time.

It's gonna be close.... TANDANG WINS IMMUNITY!

And in second... KALABAW.

And Russell is pissed... AGAIN.  And he goes on another rant about how he's not supposed to fail.

DAY 10

Malcolm is about ready to cry. Russell and Malcolm are saying... Vote Denise out.

Malcolm is closely aligned with Denise, so imagine how they take it. So let's think about this for a moment. Denise and Russell talk it out. Russell has a deal with Malcolm. Denise and Malcolm are in an alliance. And above all this... getting bullied as a child. And punching his bully in the face. "I'm not going to cower in the face of anything."

Tonight, people are telling people that they're voting for everyone else, but it could go either way. Thing of  it is, Russell NEVER brought up Malcolm once. But if Denise gets bamboozled tonight, it'll only be because they played a better game.

NIGHT 10: Tribal...

Another crazy round ends with a trip to Tribal. Today at camp was interesting, because if player 1 is talking to player 2, then player 3 is going home. Russell said that if he does his best, he should win, but there is nothing wrong with expecting excellence from himself whatever he's doing. Malcolm owns the fact that he cost the team the win. Denise says that she'll continue being a strong player. Malcolm is ready to win something, and he can't wait for a twist to happen. He thinks that he's a big physical asset. Russell says that Malcolm is a huge physical threat. He says that he's not a slouch, and he has a social game to go forward. Malcolm says that Denise is a social gamer. Supreme. Malcolm says that the two who survive tonight will be the two who have a great chance of going forward.

Russell: MALCOM (sic) - "You're too big a threat going forward. You're really a great kid."
Malcolm: RUSS - "Sorry, brother."

And Denise's vote is for.... RUSS ":(". With two votes, Russell Swan... THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.
