MANONO
The women of Salani were
hanging by a thread as the storm approached, but the men of Manono made
it a bit easier as they had to vote out one of their own. Now 15 remain.
DAY 9: SHELL GAME
The day begins by beating
out snail shells for breakfast, resplendent in their turnabout. Nothing
says survival like escargot. We get an offer from Jonas for how to use a
net to catch fish. He wants to share his catch. And for someone who
doesn't care either way, he's sure making a hard sell.
R-CHALLENGE: SLINGO-SHOT SMASH (for
one of three reward - sleeping gear, tarp, or donuts & coffee; Bill sits for Manono)
Take turns using a slingshot
to launch coconuts at 25 wooden panels. First team to knock five targets
in a row - either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - wins reward.
A shot will only count if a majority of the panel is removed.
WINNERS: SALANI in 8! They
choose... the tarp.
Sabrina's happy (to say the
least) that they sucked the wind out of the Manonos' sails.
DAY 11: PUZZLED, YET?
HEY! TREEMAIL!
When pairs
of minds work together,
Being well-balanced is an important part.
You can't outrun a vote against you,
So, today, you'll just have to be smart.
|
Hmmm..."pairs"..."well-balanced"..."smart"...odd. Let's see...
Kat has a bit of an issue
with Alicia. Need I remind you that Alicia did just throw the puzzle
together right now and you did... nothing? Sabrina says we don't need
Alicia to be a firecracker this close to...
I-CHALLENGE: PUZZLE RELAY (Jonas
sits out)
Joined at the wrist, the
tribesmen will be paired and forced to run a teeter-totter to three
puzzles (three logs, a pyramid, and the mighty logo). Solve each one and
receive a key. First to win all three keys and unlock all three locks to
raise their flag. wins Immunity.
The men are first to unsplit
the log.... and put together the pyramid... and slide together the
logo... and Alicia and Chelsea spend most of the time on the log.
Meanwhile, the only good to be found in being behind is looking at a
model to find out how it's done. "CHEATER!" Yeah, shut it, Tarzan.
It's pretty much over,
though. MANONOS win, and Salanis are voting out tonight. "That BARELY
qualifies as a challenge." Just rub the salt in, Jeff.
AFTERNOON 11: A STRANGE TURN OF
EVENTS
Alicia is seen as a bit of a
weak link, which could work to Christina's benefit. Meanwhile, Alicia
tries to sell it for more than it was. Sabrina thinks that she was
rubbing salt in the wound. She and Kim are looking to get rid of Alicia,
while at the same time, Kim thinks that Sabrina shaking things up is
making her nervous.
But Tarzan has a plan that
was sprung together by Colton. The plan: give the women immunity and go
to Tribal Council themselves to get rid of what Tarzan sees as "a
betrayal". On one hand, the women's heads are spinning. On the other
hand... if they give up a win just to send someone home? That's someone
not on OUR tribe going home.
In the end...
HELLO! The Manonos are
heading to see Jeff instead! And our host thought that he'd seen
everything. Well, what can I say except...
