Timber
October 22

The cast knows that there are only two face-off challenges left. Then two boats with four key holders each race for the $300,000 prize. Still, no one yet knows how the crew of each boat will be determined.

The boredom is setting in as Robin and Ryan judges who has the best butt between Johnny, Dan and Kenny. Johnny was deemed the winner of that contest. Evelyn's still annoyed knowing she'll never get the chance to go back into a face-off to get a key. The alliance wants Ryan to go into the faceoff, win and take Jenn's key which he swears he'll never do because of his friendship with Jenn.

The airplane drops off another box, and this time it has toilet paper, eggs, a cellphone, a video camera and more boat pieces. All of the guys especially Dunbar fear their key will be taken away this close to the end. Colie feels she deserves a key although everyone feels she hasn't done anything on the island.

The next day, T.J. comes to get the nominees for the next face-off which ends up being Colie, Johanna and Ryan. TJ then mentions that the cast is doing a piss-poor job on their so called boats. The girls are getting restless and they start working on the other boat which the guys haven't done so since they wanted to finish the other one first. But the alliance sees this as a possible detriment to their success.

The next-to-last face-off challenge is called "Timber". Colie, Johanna and Ryan must stand on a tree stump while holding two heavy tree trunks up with each arm the longest. Each of the trunks hold a net full of coconuts. If a participant lets go of both ropes, their tree trunk touches the ground eliminating him or her. The one left standing wins this face-off, a T-Mobile Sidekick LS communication device, and a choice of which participant to take a key from. Ryan outlasts Colie and Johanna saving himself from elimination.

In the elimination, Colie tells everyone to vote her out and keep Johanna which they all oblige with a unanimous 10-0 vote, sending the former home. Ryan then sides somewhat with the alliance and takes KellyAnne's key over Jenn's. T.J. then surprises the remaining participants and tells everyone there is one more face-off to go and there'll be no more nominations. And because Dan, KellyAnne, Evelyn and Johanna have no keys at this point, they'll all automatically be competing. Ev's thrilled upon hearing this news while the alliance is freaking out.

KEY COUNT
Dan - 0 keys
Derrick - 1 key
Dunbar - 1 key
Evelyn - 0 keys
Jennifer - 1 key
Johanna - 0 keys
Johnny - 1 key
KellyAnne - 0 key
Kenny - 1 key
Paula - 1 key
Robin - 1 key
Ryan - 1 keys

Which four of these remaining participants will share in the handsome reward? We'll find out in the finale the next time I recap.
