Dynamic Duo
July 16

Tonight... one team will face 10 games, each 60 seconds in length. Playing with household items could win you $250,000. But first, you have to beat the clock. And EVERY. SECOND. COUNTS. Tonight's team has the dream, but do they have the drive to go all the way?

Trina (37; Lancaster, CA) & Trisha (32; Lancaster, CA) are sisters and best friends who are competing for a charity that hits home. Trina's second son Cameron has Tourette's, and part of whatever they win tonight would go to the National Tourette's Syndrome Foundation. They call themselves The Dynamic Duo because, and this is them talking, "They're the double 'Ts' with the double 'D's."

As a reminder of what's at stake...

LEVEL 1: $1000
LEVEL 2: $2000
LEVEL 3: $3000
LEVEL 4: $5000
LEVEL 5: $10,000
LEVEL 6: $15,000
LEVEL 7: $25,000
LEVEL 8: $50,000
LEVEL 9: $100,000
LEVEL 10: $250,000

Once you pass the $1000, $10,000 and the $25,000 levels, you are guaranteed that much money. Otherwise, it's the same game. Ten challenges, each to be accomplished in under a minute. Complete the task, and you move to the next level. You will have three lives to use during the game. At the end of each level, you can take the cash and dash, or you can stay and play, and that's important, because if you run out of lives, your game is over and you leave with the last safeguard.

And of course, as the Computer will tell you, "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in ELIMINATION."

MILESTONE LEVEL 1: FLOTACIOUS: One player from each team will make a tower of five empty soda cans on a floating plastic plate in a bowl of water. It must stay afloat for a three-count.

First attempt (Trisha)... FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO lives remaining)

Second attempt (Trina).... COMPLETE! (:00; $1000)

LEVEL 2: EGG DANCE: The contestant must carry two eggs on inverted plates across the stage from one set of platforms to the other. The contestant fails the challenge if either egg drops.

Attempt 1 (Trisha)...  COMPLETE! (:03, $2000)

LEVEL 3: BLOW BALL: On a pizza platter are 76 balls, three yellow, the rest red. The contestant must blow the red ping-pong balls off of a large pizza platter without knocking off the yellow ping-pong balls scattered in the mess of red ping-pong balls.

Attempt 1 (Trina)... COMPLETE! (:16, $3000)

LEVEL 4: GOT YOUR BACK: As a team, the players back-to-back in a plastic hoop while firing ping-pong balls at four ping-pong paddles, hoping to knock them down.

ttempt 1... COMPLETE! (:41, $5000)

MILESTONE LEVEL 5: WALRUS: The contestant must transfer three marshmallows from one table to another, creating a stack in the process, using the pincer action created from two coffee stirrers in their mouths.

Attempt 1 (Trisha)...  COMPLETE! (:09, $10,000)

LEVEL 6: SPEED ERASER: Using a pencil's rubber eraser, the contestants have to bounce eight pencils into eight glasses each.

(C-Note: In four tries, this task has not been completed once on the GSN version)

Attempt 1.... FAIL (TIME OUT, ONE life remaining)

ONLY attempt.... FAIL (TIME OUT; GAME OVER). But they do leave with $10,000.

Another team and another game is forthcoming. STAND BY.

YOUR RECAP CONTINUES IN 3... 2... 1...
