60 Second Dream Team
July 2

Tonight... one team will face 10 games, each 60 seconds in length. Playing with household items could win you $250,000. But first, you have to beat the clock. And EVERY. SECOND. COUNTS. Tonight's team has the dream, but do they have the drive to go all the way?

Dating couple Daniel (29; Philadelphia) and Leyvonna (23; Oakland) are the 60 SECOND DREAM TEAM. They're supportive of each other's dream. And the dream that they share -- using their combined martial arts experience to open a gym. This money will get them there.

As a reminder of what's at stake...

LEVEL 1: $1000
LEVEL 2: $2000
LEVEL 3: $3000
LEVEL 4: $5000
LEVEL 5: $10,000
LEVEL 6: $15,000
LEVEL 7: $25,000
LEVEL 8: $50,000
LEVEL 9: $100,000
LEVEL 10: $250,000

Once you pass the $1000, $10,000 and the $25,000 levels, you are guaranteed that much money. Otherwise, it's the same game. Ten challenges, each to be accomplished in under a minute. Complete the task, and you move to the next level. You will have three lives to use during the game. At the end of each level, you can take the cash and dash, or you can stay and play, and that's important, because if you run out of lives, your game is over and you leave with the last safeguard.

And of course, as the Computer will tell you, "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in ELIMINATION."

MILESTONE LEVEL 1: TILT-A-CUP: The contestant must bounce a ping pong ball off the ground, catching it in a stack of SIX plastic cups they are holding. The player must then transfer the top cup to the bottom of the stack and then repeat the process until all six cups have a ping pong ball in them.

First attempt (Leyvonna)... COMPLETE! (:34, $1000)

LEVEL 2: FLYING GUMBALL SAUCERS: The contestant must slide an inverted flying saucer with enough force to knock a gumball off of a soda can and onto the saucer. This must be repeated FIVE times.

Attempt 1 (Daniel)... FAIL (ATTEMPT OUT, TWO lives remaining)

Attempt 2 (Leyvonna)... COMPLETE! (:35, $2000)

LEVEL 3: WELL DONE: The contestant must guide four golf balls into four small vent holes next to each other in an inverted barbecue grill lid without using their hands. The contestant fails the challenge if any of the balls falls out.

Attempt 1 (Daniel)... COMPLETE! (:12, $3000)

LEVEL 4: MARBLES GRANDE: The contestants must toss white balls from five feet into a circle to knock SEVEN red ones out.

Attempt 1... COMPLETE (:34, $5000)

MILESTONE LEVEL 5: OFFICE TENNIS: The team must use clipboards to rally a crumpled piece of paper into a wastebasket. A carry or double-hit will mean a loss of life.

Attempt 1...  COMPLETE! (:04, $10,000)

LEVEL 6: LAYIN' TRACK: The contestant must place clips of staples to form a track on a slanted table, going over three sections of erasers. Then they roll a marble down the track in hopes that it lands in a glass 12 feet away.

Attempt 1 (Leyvonna).... COMPLETE! (:00, $15,000)

MILESTONE LEVEL 7: CD DOMINOES: One contestant must line up 20 jewel cases around a shot glass in a way that, when one is blown over, all of them fall and the final case in the series falls into a bucket located next to the contestant.

First attempt (Leyvonna)... This one has to go to the replay... and it's a FAIL (TIME OUT; ONE life remaining).

FINAL Attempt (Leyvonna)... FAIL (TIME OUT; GAME OVER) But they do leave with $10,000.

Another team and another game is forthcoming. STAND BY.
