Episode 109
January 11

Welcome to another episode of the Million Dollar Money Drop where the hard part isn't winning the money, it's keeping it. Anna and Anthony Sinopoli are a married couple of seven years from New York City. They say they have street smarts and want to take that million and a red eye flight home. Well, the million bucks may and a gauntlet of seven questions will have something very different to say about that.

QUESTION 1 CATEGORIES: SPELLING/SPORTS

Anthony's feeling positive about Sports, but Anna isn't quite so sure.

Q1: Traditionally, winners of the Indianapolis 500 drink what kind of beverage in victory lane?
A: One made by Anheuser-Busch
B: One made by Dom Perignon
C: One made by an Atlanta soft drink company
D: One made by cows

All of the money is placed on B. Then Kevin offers the quick change to the couple, but they refuse.

The correct answer is.......D. And for the first time in this series, their game ends on the very first question. So Anna and Anthony are gone with an empty cash cow.

Another couple is ready to face the drops tonight, and they are April and Kenneth Partner. They've been married for seven years, although they've been together for 11. April and Kenneth have just got their first home under renovation and they have yet to unpack. They want to start a family and fill their house with kids.

QUESTION 1 CATEGORIES: SEINFELD/GIRL SCOUTS

April and Kenneth begin with Girl Scouts.

Q1: What is the best-selling Girl Scout cookie?
A: Thin Mint
B: Samoa
C: Tagalong
D: Lemon Chalet Creme

B is wrong at the cost of 320K and C is wrong at the cost of 180K. They're now left with half a million to play with...

QUESTION 2 CATEGORIES: PRESIDENTS/SUPERHEROES

April and Kenneth go with Superheroes.

Q2: Which comic book hero has not been the star of a live action major motion picture in the last 10 years?
A: The one who was bitter by a radioactive spider
B: The one who was born on Krypton
C: The one with the Lasso of Truth
D: The one who turns green when he's angry

They bet it all on C, and it's the correct answer. All of the half-million is still in play.

QUESTION 3 CATEGORIES: CRIME/THANKSGIVING

A question about Thanksgiving it is.

Q3: According to the Lenox Report, which of these is the most popular Thanksgiving side dish?
A: Mashed potatoes
B: Green bean casserole
C: Cranberry sauce
D: Candied yams

C is not it, and they pay 100K for that, and B also costs them 120K. A is correct, keeping 280K in play.

QUESTION 4 CATEGORIES: TECHNOLOGY/SPORTS

Up next is Sports.

Q4: According to a 2010 Q Score Survey, who is the most disliked sports figure?
A: LeBron James
B: Tiger Woods
C: Michael Vick

They put all of the money on C. And that's correct!

QUESTION 5 CATEGORIES: CELEB MARRIAGES/DISASTERS

April and Kenneth think they're up to date as far as Celeb Marriages go.

Q5: Which celebrity marriage lasted the longest?
A: Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman
B: Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson
C: Kid Rock and Pam Anderson

A is wrong and 80K is gone. B is correct and they save 200K with two questions to go.

QUESTION 6 CATEGORIES: CARTOONS/ALCOHOL

April and Kenneth don't have enough knowledge about alcohol, so they go with Cartoons.

Q6: Which member of the Chipmunks wears glasses?
A: Alvin
B: Simon
C: Theodore

All if the money is placed on B and through all of the questions, they opt not to use the quick change. But that doesn't matter now, because B is correct and they're playing for $200,000 in the final question of their game.

QUESTION 7 CATEGORIES: TEENAGERS/PETS

Q7: According to a Nielsen Study, every day the typical American teenager does what for the longest time?
A: Watch TV
B: Surf the Internet

April and Kenneth put all of the money on B, and then Kevin mentions a fact that the correct answer is three times more than the wrong one. They stick with B. The correct answer is...A, and all of their money goes bye bye.

April and Kenneth went the distance, but there was no reward waiting at the finish line for them. Another team faces the Million Dollar Money Drop next time.
