Tonight a pair of best friends and work out buddies, put not only their knowledge to the test, but also their friendship as well for a potential payoff.

An episode of the Million Dollar Money Drop begins anew. This time instead of a couple, we've got best friends and work out buddies, Sherman Mitchell and Omar Williams. They haven't seen a thousand large until now.

QUESTION 1 CATEGORIES: INFOMERCIALS/SESAME STREET

Sherman and Omar start things off getting to Sesame Street

Q1: Which of these characters was most recently added to the cast of "Sesame Street"?
A: Cookie Monster
B: Elmo
C: Big Bird
D: Ernie

All of the money is placed on A, but they're not sure so they enact the Quick Change.

D is wrong, 360K is already out the window. A is also wrong, and that cost them 140K. B is correct leaving then with half a million in play.

QUESTION 2 CATEGORIES: BRANDS/TOM HANKS FILMS

Up next...Tom Hanks Films

Q2: Tom Hanks starred in which of these movies first?
A: Philadelphia
B: A League of Their Own
C: Apollo
D: Big

The answer isn't A, they lose 100K. But the right answer is D, keeping the remaining 400K in play.

QUESTION 3 CATEGORIES: SUPER BOWL SUNDAY/PIE

They want a question about Super Bowl Sunday, and they get it.

Q3: In terms of total dollars spent, Americans bought the most of which snack food for Super Bowl Sunday, according to a 2010 Nielsen Report?
A: Nuts
B: Pretzels
C: Potato Chips
D: Tortilla Chips

A total of 260 grand gets sacked by answers A and B, but the right answer is C and that keeps 140 large in play.

QUESTION 4 CATEGORIES: INTERNET/LOGOS

Sherman and Omar will go for a question on Logos.

Q4: In the bullseye logo currently used by Target stores, how many red circles surround the center bullseye?
A: 1
B: 2
C: 3

They're going bold and playing big by putting all of the money on A. And the right answer is...A!

QUESTION 5 CATEGORIES: YOUR MONEY/BURGER TOPPINGS

Sherman and Omar are more confident about Burger Toppings.

Q5: Which of these burger toppings has the most calories?
A: A tablespoon of Heinz Tomato Ketchup
B: A tablespoon of Hellmann's Mayonnaise
C: A slive of Kraft Singles American Cheese

All of the money is placed on B, and it's correct.

QUESTION 6 CATEGORIES: HOUSEHOLD PESTS/CLASSIC ROCK SONGS

Do they know something about Household Pests? Let's see...

Q6: According to Orkin, what creature is the number one pest problem in America?
A: Ants
B: Bedbugs
C: Roaches

C is not right, and that sends 100K to the roaches. However, the 40 grand left in play won't be marching with the ants, at least not yet anyway.

QUESTION 7 CATEGORIES: COLLEGE/SPEED

Will a question about College keep Sherman and Omar 40 large richer or leave them flat broke?

Q7: According to the American Council of Education, which gender makes up the higher percentage of college students?
A: Men
B: Women

They go with B, before Kevin offers a fact that the correct answer makes up to 57 percent of the people. They still stick with B.

The correct answer to the final question is...B! Sherman and Omar survived the gauntlet of seven questions and they leave with $40,000 in the process.

That's it for tonight, another team of players faces the drops next time.
