Episode 103
December 201

Last night on TMDMD, two couples played their games in the hopes of saving up to $1,000,000. However, they both ended up with absolutely nothing. Can our next duo do better than them? We'll see.

Casey and Kyle Kaczmarek are ready to stop the drop, they've been together for four years and are celebrating for second wedding anniversary. Casey and Kyle first met at a winery, which may have given them a dream of owning one provided they earn enough cash tonight.

As before, they have $1,000,000 (still in 20K stacks) and must hold on to as much of that as they have to get through seven multiple choice questions before they go broke. They must put all of their money on at least one of the answers leaving at least one of them clear.

QUESTION 1 CATEGORIES: ROCK OF AGES/GAMBLING

They start their journey to possible riches with Gambling.

Q1: Statistically, what is the most likely number rolled in craps?
A: 4
B: 7
C: 10
D: 12

They put 280K on B and 720K on C before using the Quick Change. During the next half-minute they place 940K on B with 60K on C. The correct answer is...B.

QUESTION 2 CATEGORIES: U.S. STATES/MAGAZINES

Q2: According to the Magazine Publishers of America, which of these magazines had the most paid subscribers in 2009?
A: Motor Trend
B: Playboy
C: Sports Illustrated
D: Men's Health

Answer B costs them 120K, but C leaves them with $820,000.

QUESTION 3 CATEGORIES: THE GODFATHER/PIE

Casey and Kyle are going with the Godfather.

Q3: Who dies first in the 1972 film "The Godfather"?
A: The character played by Marlon Brando
B: The character played by Al Pachino
C: The character played by Robert Duvall
D: The character played by James Caan

They lose 260K on A, but D lets them go on to the 4th question with $560,000 in hand.

QUESTION 4 CATEGORIES: FIRST AID/UNDERWATER

They think they know something about first aid.

Q4: Which of these was introduced first?
A: Bayer Aspirin
B: Band-Aid Brand Bandages
C: NyQuil

B is not correct, so 480K goes out the window. But A is correct and they keep $80,000 with three questions to go.

QUESTION 5 CATEGORIES: JOBS/THE INTERNET

Casey and Kyle agree on the Internet.

Q5: What was the most-purchased item on Amazon.com in 2008?
A: Twilight DVD
B: "I Dreamed a Dream" single by Susan Boyle
C: Kindle E-Book Reader

They go all-in on C which is...correct!

QUESTION 6 CATEGORIES: CARS/SEAFOOD

They choose Seafood.

Q6: According to the National Fisheries Institute, Americans consume the most of which type of seafood annually?
A: Swordfish
B: Salmon
C: Shrimp

In a gutsy move, Casey and Kyle go all-in on C, and they're correct. They now go on to the final question for $80,000.

QUESTION 7 CATEGORIES: MARRIAGE/NYC TRANSPORTATION

Casey and Kyle go with their hearts on Marriage.

Q7: According to the U.S. Census, as of 2009, which are there more of in America?
A: Married women
B: Single women

They place the 80K on B, but they get one final fact. In 2009, for the first time in history, the correct answer outnumbers the incorrect one. They still stay with B...and...they're...CORRECT!

Casey and Kyle become the first pair of winners as they end up with $80,000. And that's it for now, the Drop will be back with another duo, hoping to avoid becoming members of the $0 Winners Club.
