America's Most Smartest Finale... Part 1
December 9

Last time on the show, we had cars, cars, and more cars, but in the end, Rachael tripped over her own dress (not literally) and Brett trips over a moving circle of death, leaving Andre as an alliance of one. How can he possibly survive going into this, the final push?

It's time for Andre's last stand as a model, as a Soviet, and... as a man.

Angela's stoked that she's the only woman left. But now she too is realizing that if anyone doesn't deserve the money, it's VJ, who did everything in his power to get his way. Some call that greedy and underhanded. VJ calls it playing the game. But Angela thinks that it's a bad example of what models should be.

Andre speaks to the wall of the fallen. He thinks it's crazy that he's missing everyone. It's his mission to take VJ out.

Note du Jour: "Your biggest challenges still await you. Pack your bags, because you're about to take a little bit of an overnight road trip." To where? Palm Springs, baby.

Andre: "What the hell is Palm Springs?"

The three are given gift baskets from their adventure and this note: "Up until now, I haven't had a chance to know you on a personal level. That will change shortly." Looks like Mary Alice will join you all for dinner.

Mary Alice arrives for dinner. This is the site for her next challenge, a photo shoot, but we're not going to focus on that right now.

Angela said that she struggled her whole life. She always wanted to be in control, coming from being the oldest in a house with six kids. Andre was 18 when he arrived in the US. "Whatever you do, before you open your mouth, THINK!" VJ says that it will mean a lot to win this thing. His father was a musician, and he was raised with his mother and two sisters. All of a sudden, it's a race to see who had the bigger hard-luck stories. Andre, on the other hand, likes the fact that he had 27 scars.

Angela's dream is to be a model... and a singer. She thinks she'll win it. VJ thinks she'll win it. Andre thinks... Angela'll win it. "I didn't mean that!"

Tomorrow will boil down to who's the best in front of a camera... with another model (that they haven't met before). Tonight will boil down to who has the best chemistry with whom.

VJ is very attracted toward Heather. Andre tries to talk about the business in New York and Europe as opposed to the more commercial LA. Jane and Lauren love to shoot with him. Angela demonstrates her walk, and decides to use the guys in her shoot.

6:47a, the next morning. And here are Mary Alice with her friends... 7a call time, baby.

Edge Challenge: Photo Shoot

The premise: rock'n'roll. Be smart enough to work with Roxanne Lowit and stylist Luke Storey, and you may be safe tonight. One of them will not be going back to the mansion tonight.

Andre decides to pair up with Lauren & Jane. That's about as rock'n'roll as it gets. Adam and Greg get called by Angela, who decides that she wants to be the center of attention. "If you guys don't do what I want, I can replace you." VJ... picks Lauren and Heather. Mary Alice tells Andre that maybe he overheard what was going on. But he's smart. He can deliver with just Jane, right?

Andre takes the cameras first. VJ... takes a peek. "I plan on kicking some serious rock'n'roll ass."

VJ is next..... and Andre says that VJ is copying his every single move... Me, I don't see it. The plan to take two models with him, I'm totally with Andre on this one. So is Mary Alice, who is seeing that VJ's moment of glory is totally not glorious. VJ decides to go with his own idea... and it totally works in her favor. See what happens when you let VJ be VJ?

Angela decides to be the golden goddess, and she has fun with it. Apparently her idea of fun and Mary Alice's idea of fun are two different ideas, because she's bossing everyone around... and so is Mary Alice. Okay. Next round, Angela decides to sing it off... and she's good at it, but she needed to remember that she's a model first, another thing that Mary Alice is getting on her about.

Andre gets to move indoors at long last and decides to be laid back. He wants Angela to do well today, so he can "get rid of his (^_^)". Okay, that's a wrap. Good job, everyone.

Pool time. Andre decides to come to VJ with the claims of stealing his game plan. Angela did notice that some of VJ's poses were similar to Andre's, and VJ's getting in Andre's face about it... without stooping to his level. And Angela? She can beat those two.

Elimination time. Whoever has the worst photos will not be returning to the mansion. Mary Alice said that it was a pretty "obvious decision". Andre had his best shoot thus far, even with just the one model. He used his smarts to create characters.

Angela picked two of the better models, but she used the same stance over and over again. She was giving her the same. She's probably a better singer than a model, though.

VJ's first 10 shots were "Zoolander". Then came the shot that Andre decided was just like his. And that shot just might spell his end.. Then he decided to do whatever came natural at the time, and he hit his stride just doing that.

So who's going home tonight?

Angela. "You, today, were not model enough." She thinks she's the most beautiful, but not the most model enough. At least she has a future in music. But Angela was convinced that she wanted it more than the others. Should've shown it.

Andre wins the shootout, and he and VJ are heading back to the mansion, where Ben will be waiting with the final challenge.

Sleep well, gents, because tomorrow is going to be a bloodbath... Andre, though, will rearrange his mirror of fallen comrades.

The next morning brings with it the final challenge for the final two. Time to meet Ben.

Only one person can tell who is America's Most Smartest Model, and that is you. To that end, the challenge is to create a five-minute multimedia presentation as to why you think you are America's Most Smartest Model.

Andre: "Oh crap. I'm in trouble."  VJ: "Oh (^_^) yeah! I'm so stoked."

Here to help are Cathy and Sally Dew of Tommy Dew design. What the guys will do is completely up to the guys, but the Dews will be guiding.

Andre won the Edge Challenge, so he's going to get a Sony Ericsson mobile phone. He can pretty much do anything he wants with it, but it all comes down to this. Whoever makes the best presentation will win the title of America's Most Smartest Model and, as we are all reminded time and time again, "the Extreme Style by VO5 prize of *pinky* $100,000."

"May the most smartest model win."

The aim is simply to tell the greatest story, with the end result being "I am America's Most smartest model." Andre, though, starts by bagging on VJ. That's probably not a good thing to lead off with unless you're... change that, EVEN if you're a politician.

VJ just wants to prove that he's a better presenter, a step ahead of everyone else. He wants to give Andre the personality of a dog... a Rottweiler. Andre wants to expose VJ for the liar he is. He's going crazy trying to come up with something brilliant. Andre doesn't want to come off as a braggart. "It's better to win through action than look like a fool even though you know what you're talking about."

So what do the models want to leave their audience with? Andre decides to clear his head... and then he gets an idea about what to do with his phone. "Make calls with his friends, if he has any."...

"VJ, you're about to have the shock of your lifetime." TO BE CONTINUED... next time.
