6.4 - Wipeout Family Values Another set of families are ready to take on the most brutal obstacle course in America. But do they have what it takes to take on the mother of all obstacle courses? THE WIPEOUT QUALIFIER Tonight, our 12 family pairs will have to face... - It's No Picnic: moving blankets and
giant flies. The six pairs with the fastest times will get to see the extended family of Wipeout obstacles in the next round. ADVANCING TO ROUND 2 OCTOPUSHY Contestants have to ride a platform from one side to the other while dodging spinning arms. First four complete teams to make dry land move on. ADVANCING TO ROUND 3 WIPEOUT'S GREATEST HITS Crowdsurf into the Percussion Section, then ride the Drumsticks to the Keyboards, and through the Swinging Axe, all the while dodging props from our doo-wop greasers. The first two complete teams across get an encore performance in the Wipeout Zone. ADVANCING TO THE WIPEOUT ZONE THE WIPEOUT ZONE We have Country Strong vs. the Shamily. One team will win $50,000. The other... is going to drop. - The Scare Chair. Launching 30 feet into
the night sky. Remember, this is a combined time affair. First up, Stacy Green, who with her second cousin Kasey Contreras placed FIRST in Wipeout's Greatest Hits. Stacy enters the zone inside out and backwards. Remember, the Blockbuster has a time penalty option. One which Stacy exercises. She also gets her head tossed in the Space Pod of Doom, leaving her with 11:37 going into the Bounder Pounders. She makes it with a time of 14:19. Next up, Samantha Palmer, who with her father Flint placed second in both Octopushy and Wipeout's Greatest Hits. She's been the driver, and now she's setting the tone. Samantha also eats a time penalty on Blockbuster. Space Pod has zero traction. She lands from the Pod on the second try. But the Bounder Pounders eat at her lead. The final time... 12:39. Kasey Contreras is loaded into the Scare Chair... and off she goes into the black night with one of the highest launches ever seen. Two tries on Blockbuster, and she's done with that. She fails to recognize the gravity of the situation on the Space Pod. She drops with almost 30 minutes on the clock going into the Bounder Pounder. She has an issue with the first.... but ultimately comes in with a timer of 35:31. That means that Flint has 23 minutes give or take to finish the course. He... doesn't make it. STACEY AND KASEY TAKE THE GAME AND THE $50,000! Come back next Thursday for 24 more players and four more painful courses. Until then... Good night.... and Big Balls.
