Round of 16 (or "Connecting the Dots to Picture Perfection")
June 29

Last week, 4 people were sent home making room for just 16 people and they're about to test their Mega memory from choreography in front of millions of people if you can get the picture. Let's roll in a snap!

In the Star Chair is Kristin Chenoweth, and we begin with all 8 dancers doing Broadway to "Hit The Road Jack" by Ray Charles.

Now the competition moves to couples only starting with Sasha & Alexander doing contemporary to "Belong" by Cary Brothers. Alexander played a fake piano and Sasha actually came out. They later danced around it, and got off of it for a while. They went back mostly with Sasha's arms coming out by the end.

What Mary said: loved this love story.
What I said: I really loved it.

Next Up was Caitlynn & Mitchell doing a samba to "put It in a love song" by Alicia Keys w/Beyonce and then afterwards, it was Miranda & Robert doing Broadway to "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)" from "Sophisticated Ladies." They started out slow and speeding up the pace...and a bit more towards the end. When's it ever gonna slow down?

What Kristin said: Tonight, you killed it.
What I said: Speed kills and they didn't. Nice job, you 2.

We have Melanie & Marko doing Lyrical Hip-Hop to "I Got You" by Leona Lewis. Melanie had to join Marko and both did hand work. Later, Marko was left alone, but Melanie quickly reunited. Pure bliss.

What Nigel said: They are the couple to beat.
What I said: I knew what it was in the beginning, and they did.

Ashley & Chris do jazz to "Lights Go Down" by Telepathe. They were acting like zombies and weren't by acting as if it was a horror flick. But judging by the costumes, you should look at it.

What Nigel said: I didn’t connect with this music. There wasn’t enough character.
What I said: I guess nothing seemed to have worked with this routine.

Clarice & Jess take a foxtrot to "Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Jess plays the role of Frank and Clarice watches. After this, you know what a foxtrot is. I don't need to explain it.

What Mary said: Jess, you're solo work.
What I said: I loved it.

Ryan & Ricky do contemporary to "With Every Heartbeat" by Robyn. Ricky tangled around with Ryan's long dress part that wouldn't take off and she took her turn at it. Pretty good for a routine, huh?

What Nigel said: Sonya created this for her father. Ricky I couldn’t take my eyes off you.
What I said: That dress part was amazing.

Last for the couples before the big finale, It's Jordan & Tadd doing Hip-hop to "Memories" by David Guetta. Both wake up in the bed thinking it was the wrong wife. Whoops! However, Tadd was in his boxer shorts doing a breakdance and Jordan helped put his clothes on. By the end, they were back in the bed.

What Kristin said: Shut the front door! That was dessert!
What I said: Kinda funny, but i liked it.

How's this? We got 8 more people dancing contemporary and with that, we end the show. Tune in tomorrow to see 2 more people go home. See you guys later.
