Auditions: Los Angeles (or "How NOT To Survive the Smog")
June 2

About time to hit up one more city before we head further west. This time we're in Los Angeles, which is the last stop on the tour. Someone will prance, dance and tumble their way into the top 20 pretty soon. Who can it be? Find out now.

LOS ANGELES
Orpheum Theater

First off, Jordan Casanova did some sexy moves that wowed the judges. Those moves would get him to Vegas, but Derion "D.C." Chapman did hip-hop tricks and gave him a pass. He even taught Nigel how to do the "Cat Daddy." Way to go, old guy. next came Arielle Coker, who returns with a different look and dance. Off to Vegas she goes. Hope she makes it into the finals. Now here's Joe "Big C" Doyle with a krump dance and a six-pack. nice. But his krumping didn't work and he went out like a blown fuse. Later, Big C.

hero McRae comes to us from the land of the risiing sun. She does a locking routine and that left guest judges Tyce Diorio speechless. Off to Vegas she goes! Here's Alexis Mason. her sister was the champion 3 seasons ago. Now she keeps the familt genes going with a routine that needed some work. However, they send her to Vegas after finding out that it does work. Patty Anne Miller comes in with a combination of all things hip-hop in style. Just like a locker, it opened the door straight throug to vegas. Add Natalia & Sasha Mallory's african dance routine, and it'll be the end of the auditions as you know it.

What did I learn this week?

- Men in short black pants make you avert your eyes.
- If you krump as Santa Claus, save it for New Year's eve.
- having a sister of a champion makes it a top 20 pick.
- And Robin Antin is the answer to this question: "When was your last reality show judging gig?"

Anything else I learned so far? You'll have to see why next week as we head to Vegas. The city of gambling packs more than 100 dancers for a week of grueling tests that moves them into the finals. See you guys later.
