The Vegas Callbacks (Or "Thanks a Lot, Slots")
June 11

With the citywide auditions disposed of, it was time to go to Vegas and Vegas it will be for this episode. A boatload of dancers are here to make the cut. How will the process be done? You'll see why in a 2-hour timeframe. Watch.

LAS VEGAS
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

159 dancers kicked down the door to a seluded hotel at 8 a.m. and in this solo dance process, you either get a hotel room or it's back home you go.

Taylor Ward, the knee popper decided to stay home for it and Hampton Williams got into a car accident, so his wife will compete. Other than that, we begin with Jason Derulo joining the panel and Malece Miller was the first of many to do a solo. She got into round 2, no questions asked. With more solos coming in, Donovan Gibbs came in and he got disjointed, so he gets ousted, but 3 more dancers got the heave-ho.

Fik-Shun came in next and it won Twitch over. He is definitely moving on.

DAY 2

Choreography time! Team TabNap gets in and Jade the animator along with other street dancers impressed this routine. Shan Shan even brought moves of her own. All of them went to teh next round.

With half out of here by the time lunch came, Sonya Tayeh teaches the remaining half a jazz routine. With partnering issues, Sonya took it seriously by letting them not face the judges and decides to let them practice overnight. With that, Malace got to the hospital after a drop from Armen. Ouch. However, Hannah Simone from "New Girl" came in and a new day dawns.

DAY 3

One group including Fik-Shun took teh stage and 77 remain afterwards. There was a situation however when Jade partnered up with Sydney who is taller than her. With Sydney going in. Jade must dance for his life.

With Malece returning from the hospital, the judges decide to take her through, but 68 remain. Afternoon came and ballroom was in place. Everyone but Sydney came through.

By then it was all groups. The first one consisted of a Boston Marathon tribute and the inspiration behind it. ANd guess what? Everybody goes! The next group had Fik-Shun. but one dancer bailed out early, and 2 got cut leaving Fik-Shun stranded. The last group with Mariia, a ballroom beauty pulling this one out of a hat and they magically go through.

One last group and this time it was veyr laughable in the least, because 1/3 of which were gone. 54 left and contemporary came in their way. Jennifer & Misha couldn't take it anymore and decided to go as does Jade. Good news for him, he gets another chance. Then tapper Curtis did the routine and he broke down in tears.

Jade & Bluprint were ready for a battle and after which, the decider which would be Nigel went to Staecy Tookey and guess what? It's a tie! They both deserved it!

30 minutes to 7 p.m. and it was finally over with 33 left in the battle. The party had just begun, but next week, 13 will get kicked to the curb. We'll make the top 20 on our next show. Goodbye for now.
