The LA Auditions (Or "Never Mind the Floppers")
May 14

10 seasons of So You Think You Can Dance and we have not stopped it. Our mission as always is to bring you the best dancers and crown only 1 dancer for a title. In fact, 2 dancers were crowned for a title last year, but it's 2013, and we start over again with the auditions.

LOS ANGELES
Orpheum Theatre

We kick off in LA with....

Jesse Tyler Ferguson of "Modern Family" who'll join the tag team duo of Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy who have returned this year and we promise it'll be no exception.

His name is Do-Shaunt Stegall....yes that's his name, but his alias is Fik-Shun, and it's a fact that he wowed teh crowd with a mind-boggling performance. Off to vegas he goes, which is also true, but Malece Miller had a true story that broke our hearts. With that contemporary routine, she wizzes off to Vegas!

After seeing dancers you wished wee see on teh same stage, the winner of the show....in Armenia believe it or not, Paul Karmiryan took flight with a latin ballroom routine and he's.....off to Vegas!

Elijah Laurent came in next and brought something weird for everyone to see.....a neck tutu. Who knew it would come that way? Nonetheless, it's off to Vegas he goes. Then, came a screaming contest, but we'll forget about that, because next is Taylor Ward, who got a knee pop after rehearsing. Ouch! However, it pops back in and they take her to round 2. Then Morris Isby comes in and he went to round 2 as well despite a b-boy performance.

Street dancers came and went, but a Russian rapper named "Armen Way," yes, Armen Way went to Vegas despite his ballroom, you heard right, ballroom routine. Then came a story of 3 brothers who lost their dad and took dark days before they turned things around. Eric & Lorenzo Chapman were the example of that and after a routine, it didn't quite fit the program, so they might as well go home, so did the Morris Isby, but Taylor and his knee comes through with 10 more people.

On our next program, we'll go to the motor city and find out what kind of talent they have in them. See you tomorrow.
