SPEED CHALLENGE: Dead Heat
Operatives will traverse 150 feet on a
line into the urban obstacle course, then race uphill through the
quarter-mile course that is live with mines, carrying three ammo boxes
of increasing weight uphill. At the end, there is a
firing range, where you will have to shoot three targets off of a berm using a
SIG-P220 .45-caliber pistol. That will stop the clock.
TIME IS CRITICAL; the slowest time will
be extracted from the game.
ROB: 5:25
CHARLES: 4:28 - SAFE
COLIN: 4:19 - SAFE
SCOTT: 20:07
EXTRACTED: Scott.
STRENGTH CHALLENGE: Breaking the Ice
Trapped in an ice truck, the operatives
will have to break five blocks of ice containing five tools as a means
of breaking the blocks that contain five keys. Once he has obtained all
five keys, then he can unlock the door.

INTELLIGENCE CHALLENGE: Safe Shooter
Each operative is hung upside down. You
have to open four safes and acquire the four parts of a Beretta 9mm. The
first person to shoot his rope and free himself will win $10,000 and the
title of One Man Army.
This is a challenge so intense that in
the run of this series, no one has yet to complete it.
The keypad smudge safe has a clue of
236___. The remaining three are also smudged. The correct sequence: 594.
The word safe... the clue is WORD.
The open safe... is OPEN. Rob is the
first to complete a safe.
The key safe has 15 keys, only one of
them opens it. It's #9. That's 9 for the nine. Rob uses the hard
approach: trial and error. Colin finally opens a safe, but Rob has
two. Colin opens the word safe and ties it up. He then opens the key
safe. Colin also figures out the smudge pad... and now he can get to
work on his gun. And it's all over the but the cryin'.
EXTRACTED: Rob
And Colin B., the original American Ninja
Warrior, exercises superhuman reflexes and concentration, conquering all
three challenges and claiming the $10,000. He may not be the ultimate
ninja, but today, he is the One Man Army.
Four more operatives next time...
