SPEED CHALLENGE: The Maze
Each operative will have 15 seconds to
memorize a maze and its exit. You will have to navigate the max on your
back through several distractors designed to test your mental toughness.
The clock will stop down when you exit through the exit door.
TIME IS CRITICAL; the slowest time will
be extracted from the game.
JOHNNY: 18:05
JEFF: 4:54 - SAFE
CHRIS: 27:55
HANS: TAP OUT at 22 minutes.
EXTRACTED: Hans.
STRENGTH CHALLENGE: Tug-of-War
The three operatives will be attached to
a center ring. They will have to pull themselves toward one of three
lockout buttons. The first one who hit their lockout three times will
advance. The remaining two will go head to head. The first to hit their
lockout wins.
- Round 1: CHRIS
- Round 2: JEFF
- Round 3: JEFF
- Round 4: CHRIS
- Round 5: JOHNNY

INTELLIGENCE CHALLENGE: Cell Service
Locked in a jail cell, the two remaining
operatives must improvise an escape using whatever is inside the cell to
retrieve a key placed nine feet away. The first person to escape the
cell will be named the One Man Army and go home with $10,000.
And you know what they say... in the
beginner's mind, there are multiple options. In the experienced mind,
there are few.
Johnny's going to try to use a hanger
lasso, while Jeff uses physics to improvise a counter-lever. The hanger
wasn't working, so Johnny decides to talk to himself, collect his
thoughts, and now goes for a basket to try to retrieve his key. But Jeff
continues to lengthen his pole, remaining calm, and retrieving his key.
He claims the button and the $10,000.
EXTRACTED: Johnny
Jeff C has been non-stop all day, and now
he has a title and a check to show for it. Moral of the story: never
give up.
Four more operatives next time...
