Round of 10: Burgers and Dogs

Iron Chef versus MasterChef. Iron Chef won. Faruq lost... he lost BIG. Now only 10 remain.

FIELD CHALLENGE

Today, the cooks are cooking for the backbone of America. They'll have to cook for "100 hungry-ass truck drivers". And they'll be cooking the ultimate truck stop dish... Burgers. They will have to pick and choose from the meat available AND grind it themselves.

Jake won the Invention Test, so he'll choose the teams.

BLUE: Jake, Tracy, Whitney, Lee, Tony
RED: Sharone, Mike, Slim, David, Sheetal

Each trucker will have a blue burger and a red burger. Whosever burger gets the bill the best is safe.

They have 30 minutes to prep and select their meat, buns, and toppings. Then the truckers arrive, hungry.

The Blues have a 100% beef burger with loin and chuck, and to go on top, an old-fashioned coleslaw.

The Red will also go with a beef burger, but they will have an eclectic group of fixings with bacon, blue cheese, Swiss cheese, and a chipotle barbecue sauce. The judges think that they've fallen prey to "the celebrity chef burger". The Blues remain calm and collected. The Reds... 86 the blue cheese, as it melts through the patties and ends up on the grill. They're going to have to redo it...and quickly, because HERE COME THE TRUCKERS!

The first team to 51 votes will win the challenge.

The first votes to come in go to the red on the back of Sharone's sauce. After 34 truckers, we're tied. In a bold move to break the tie, Sharone decides to marinate everything in that bacon grease. That may be a gamechanger, as the Blue Team gets a taste of what's being served at the Red Team.

And by a score of 51-39... the RED TEAM WINS! 

PRESSURE TEST

Identify 25 ingredients by sight alone. Least ingredients is going home.

Jake: 11
Tony: 9
Lee: 10 (SAFE)
Whitney: 10 (SAFE)

Tracy needs 10 to stay alive... She gets 9... She picks out the red meat. "This is... Filet mignon." CORRECT! That means that Tony is going home on "MasterChef" tonight.

We're down to nine chefs, and things are about to get romantic. Who'll leave with a broken heart?
