"One nation under a groove, getting down just for the funk of it, one nation and ___ ____ ___ ____..."

It's no lie. "Don't forget the Lyrics" is the most watched karoke show "on the move." It's all because of knowing our words and winning some cash. Last time, Michael Oliver found a $200,000 gold mine, while William Roshaw went in one ear and out the other with zero. Now let's move out!

Tonight's contestant is Nicole Staggs from Nashville. She's a southern Greek girl, but is it all Greek to her? Let's look at the categories.

ROCK                   DISCO

POP                     AMERICAN FAVORITES
R&B                     ROCK ANTHEMS

DUETS                 MICHAEL JACKSON

               1980'S

And she's up to start off with: Duets. Here they are:

  • Reunited-Peaches & Herb

  • Say, Say, Say-MIchael Jackson/Paul McCartney

She gets Reunited. Here we go....

I spent the evening with the radio
Regret the moment that I let you go
Our quarrel was such
A way of learning so much
I know now that I love you
'Cause I need your touch
Hey, hey

(Chorus:)
Reunited, and it....STOPS! What now?

Nicole's answer: Feels so good. But she locks it in.....and IT'S GOOD! What's next? 1980's, and they are:

  • Round & Round-Ratt

  • Mony Mony-Billy Idol

She gets Mony Mony, let's go go.

Here she comes now sayin' Mony Mony
Shoot 'em down turn around come on Mony
Hey she give me love and...STOP! And what?

Nicole's answer: feel alright now. And she was right when she locked it on, because that is correct! next category: Pop. How about these?

  • Tie a Yellow ribbon round the old oak tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn

  • Waiting for a Girl Like You-Foreigner

She gets the Foreigner song. Here we go.

So long, I've been looking too hard, I've been waiting too long
Sometimes I don't know what I will find, I only know it's a matter of time
When you love someone, when you love someone
It feels so right, so warm and true, I need to know if you feel it too
Maybe I'm wrong, won't you tell me if I'm coming on too strong
This heart of mine has been hurt before, this time I wanna be sure
I've been waiting for a girl like you to...STOP! to do what?

Nicole's answer: Come into my life. And she locks it in...SCORE! What's next? R&B. Try these:

  • Where Do Broken Hearts Go?-Whitney Houston

  • Another Saturday Night

She gets Where do broken hearts go. That's what I wanna know.

I know it's been some time
but there's something on my mind

You see
I haven't been the same since that cold November day.
We said we needed space
but all we found was an empty place

And the only things I learned is that I need you desperately.
So here I am and can you please tell me:

Where do broken hearts go
can they find...FIND WHERE?

Nicole's answer: their way home. But she locks in in and we're on first base. Let's round it by dissecting. Their...is right. Way....is WAY COOL! It's down to home and it's a.....HOMERUN! And we're on to the rock category with these:

  • Reeling in the Years-Steely Dan

  • The Tide is High-Blondie

She gets The Tide Is High. Surf's up!

The tide is high but I'm holdin' on
I'm gonna be your number one
I'm not the kind-a girl who...WHO WHAT?

Nicole's answer: gives up just like that oh no. But she's not giving up as she locks it in. The first 5 are correct but are the last 2 correct as well?  OH YES! Next one: Rock Anthems. We continue rockin' with these:

  • School's Out-Alice Cooper

  • Have You Ever Seen The Rain?-CCR

She gets the rain song. It's raining...raining....

Someone told me long ago There's a calm before the storm
I know; It's been comin' for some time.
When it's over so they say It'll rain a sunny day
I know; Shinin' down like water.

CHORUS:
I want to know Have you ever seen the rain?
I want to know Have you ever seen the rain...STOP!

Nicole's answer: It doesn't rain here very much. Yeah, especially in Southern California. But hold on a sec, she calls out Ellie May...not from the Beverly Hillbillies...with: Comin' down on a sunny day? But to make sure, she calls the 3 lines and A was the correct line as she locks it in....and it's GOOD! Her next move: Disco. And they are:

  • That's The Way I Like It-KC & the Sunshine Band

  • You Make Me Feel Like Dancing-Leo Sayer

She gets That's the way I like it by the spin doc, er, KC & The Sunshine Band. Let's rock!

Oh, that's the way, uh-huh uh-huh,
I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh.
That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh,
I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh.
That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh,
I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh.
That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh,
I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh.
When you take me by the hand,
Tell me I'm your loving man,
When you give me all your love,
And do it..DO IT NICOLE!

Nicole's answer: the stars shine above. Ah, yes, night time. Strange isn't it? But she burns her last one for help. The is good but the last one is..."Can" and she answers with: The very best you can. And she locks it in...it's the BEST ONE! Yes for $200,000. next one: American favorites. Go with these if you will:

  • I Say A Little Prayer-Dionne Warwick

  • The Loco-Motion

No Loco-Motion, but she gets to say a little prayer. here we go.

The moment I wake up
Before I put on my makeup
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair, now,
And wondering what dress to wear, now,
I say a little prayer for you

Forever, forever, GO NICOLE!

Nicole's answer: you'll stay in my heart and I will love you. And judging by her movie knowledge, she locks it in...YES! It all boils down to the king of pop and these 2 songs before the million dollar song:

  • Bad

  • Rock With You

She gets Rock With You. Let's rock this joint!

Girl, close your eyes
Let that rhythm get into you
Don't try to fight it
There ain't nothin' that you can do
Relax your mind
Lay back and groove with mine
You got to feel the heat
And we can ride the boogie...STOP!

Nicole says: da da da tonight....okay, but she bails out at $350,000. Here's the answer: Share that beat of love, I wanna rock with you. Well, that's our show. But no matter what nationality you are, go by our motto: it's not what you know about it, it's what you sing about it.
