"Girl, I want you, Girl I need you, No one else, _____ ___..."

"Don't Forget The Lyrics" stands between "only you" and the million dollars. Last time, Gabirelle Anchez joins Katie Moesher in the $350K club. Now let's see who cracks a million as our show starts.

From the hoosier state of Indiana comes Jessica Theme. (pronounced they-may) She's a waitress engaged to a marine. You know the drill by know, so here are the categories:

ROCK                            ROCK ANTHEMS

POP                              LOVE SONGS

R&B                              PARTY SONGS

DONNA SUMMER          LEGENDS

                1970'S

Her first take: Love Songs. The 2 songs are:

  • Bad Case of Loving You-Robert Palmer

  • Me & Bobby McGee-Janis Joplin

She gets the Joplin one. Let's hop to it!

Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waitin' for a train
And I's feelin' near as faded as my jeans
Bobby thumbed a diesel down just before it rained
It rode us all the way into New Orleans
I pulled my harpoon out of my dirty red bandana
I's playin' soft while Bobby sang the blues, yeah
Windshield wipers slappin' time, I's holdin' Bobby's hand in mine
We sang every song that driver knew, yeah

Freedom's just another word for nothin'...WHAT?

Jessica's answer: Left to lose. But she locks it in, and didn't lose, because she's RIGHT! Her next plan: Party Songs. Who wants to party with these?

  • Puttin' On The Ritz-Taco

  • We Are Family-Sister Sledge

She gets We Are Family. We are ready!

We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up...STOP!

Jessica's answer: Everybody and sing. She sings the praises when she locked it in, and that is correct! Next one, please: R&B. See what she can do with these:

  • If you Don't Know Me By Know-Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes

  • Drift Away-Dobie Gray

She gets the Harold Melvin one. Here we go.

If you don't know me by now
You will never never never know me

All the things that we've been through
You should understand me like I understand you
Now girl I know the difference between ...STOP! Between what, Jessica?

Jessica's answer: Right & Wrong. But she uses her 2 lines to see if they're right. The 1st & 3rd words are right and.....locks it in.....RIGHT!  Now the next category: Pop. Wait up, there's a phone call on the other line....it's her finace from overseas just wanting to say hi. How nice. Back to the game and the 2 Pop songs:

  • My Eyes Adored You-Frankie Valli

  • Monday, Monday-The mommas & the Pappas

She gets Monday, Monday. Let's go, go!

Ba-da ba-da-da-da
Ba-da ba-da-da-da
Ba-da ba-da-da-da

Monday, Monday (ba-da ba-da-da-da)
So good to me (ba-da ba-da-da-da)
Monday mornin, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee (ba-da ba-da-da-da)
That Monday evening you would still...STOP! Still what?

Jessica's answer: be here with me. She locks it in...and she stays here, because she's right!  Next up: Rock Anthems. The 2 songs are:

  • Spinning Wheel-Blood, Sweat & Tears

  • Double Vision-Foriegner

She gets Double Vision. But she doesn't want to anyway. Let's roll!

Feeling down n' dirty, feeling kinda mean
I've been from one to another extreme
This time I had a good time, ain't got time to wait
I wanna stick around till I can't see straight  FREEZEPOP!

Her answer was: I'm alright ______ _______ That double Vision. That might be a good time for 3 lines. They are:

A-Blind my eyes, I want double vision

B-Fool my eyes, Give me double vision

C-Fill my eyes with that double vision

She locks it in with C.....CORRECT! She's on to Rock and 2 songs:

  • You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet-BTO

  • What I like about you-The Romantics

She gets The Romantics song. We're off!

Hey, uh huh huh
Hey, uh huh huh

What I like about you, you hold me tight
Tell me I'm the only one, wanna come over tonight, yeah

You're whispering in my ear, Tell me all....STOP! About what?

Jessica's answer: the things that I wanna hear. And it's true. She locks it in....CORRECT!  Her next move: Legends. The 2 songs are:

  • Rocket man-Elton John

  • People-Barbara Streisand

She gets People. Not the magazine. Let's go!

People. who need people...STOP! She blanks out, but calls out Laura who rescues with: "The Luckiest People In The World." Aern't we all. She locks it in, and she's right! 2 more to go before the million dollar song. The next one: 1970'S. They are:

  • Jet Airliner-Steve Miller Band

  • You Sexy Thing-Hot Chocolate

She gets You Sexy Thing. Doesn't that make sense? Let's go!

I believe in miracles
Where you from
You sexy thing
I believe in miracles
Since you came along
You sexy thing

Where did you....STOP! She said "come from" and that was it. She decided to bail out at $200,000. For those of you keeping score, the answer: come from, baby....How did you know I needed you. But who needs a stopwatch? We're out of time! Tune in again for another show. It's going to be fun, I swear. it's not what you know about it, it's what you sing about it.
