Semifinals: Hinchen/Walter/Jeffrey - February
13
Fifteen of the brightest teenagers from all
across the country have been whittled down to nine, as the Jeopardy! Teen
Tournament continues. One of them will walk away with $75,000 cash money and the mantle
of Teen Champion.
Another standard two-week affair awaits as the
first runner-up receives $25,000 at least, while the second runner-up wins at
least $15,000.
Semifinalists are guaranteed at least $5000,
while quarterfinalists are guaranteed $2500 for participation. As always, any
and all winning accrued depends on how far up the ladder a player goes.
No more wild cards. No more second chances. No
more room for error. It's win... or go home. Who'll join Ben Schenkel in the
finals? Let's find out...

Daily Double: $800 Election 2006. No one has
above $1000, and Naomi leads with $600 to David's $200 and Myles' $400. She bets
it all on this: African-American Keith Ellison of Minnesota is the 1st
Congressman of this faith, to which he converted at 19. "What is Baptist?" Nope,
Congressman Ellison is a Muslim. Naomi's left with nothing.

Daily Double #1: $1600 Crossword Clues "C".
Naomi, $3600 against David's $8000 and Myles' $5600, can move into second place
and closer to David if she goes all-in here. She doesn't. She bets $2000 to tie
Myles. The clue: to urge, perhaps to drink certain sodas (4). "What is Coke?"
Close, it was coax, leaving her with $1600.
Daily Double #2: $1200 The French. David's the clear leader with $18,800 against
Myles' $9200 and Naomi's $2400. He wagers $3500 on this: because the Seine flows
northwest, then southwest, Parisians call the 2 sides this and this, not north &
south. "What are rive gauche & rive droite?" Right for $22,300!

Finalist:
DAVID WALTER
Mr. A says: If you were to replace "David" with "Ben", then you would have
yesterday's game, where a strong wild-card that couldn't be caught overtakes a
game champ who lost focus to take a final spot.
Who'll join Ben and David in the finals? Stay
