Quarterfinals: Briggs/Liu/Robinson - February
5
Fifteen of the brightest teenagers from all
across the country have descended upon Los Angeles to compete in the Jeopardy!
Teen Tournament, where one will walk away with $75,000 cash money and the mantle
of Teen Champion.
Another standard two-week affair awaits as the
first runner-up receives $25,000 at least, while the second runner-up wins at
least $15,000.
Semifinalists are guaranteed at least $5000,
while quarterfinalists are guaranteed $2500 for participation. As always, any
and all winning accrued depends on how far up the ladder a player goes.
(C-Note: You may notice the cruddy state of the
images on this first night. Well, let this be a lesson... if your DVR or your
photo capture card doesn't work... make sure you have alternatives, such as a
VCR and a digital camera. We'll do better next time...)

Mr. A says: You ever hear of the old saying, Its not the size of the dog in
the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog? Its a lesson that todays
players took to heart. And as it is right now, they just may take that lesson to
the semis next week. Expect Hank to lead the charge. |
