Quarterfinals: Briggs/Liu/Robinson - February 5

Fifteen of the brightest teenagers from all across the country have descended upon Los Angeles to compete in the Jeopardy! Teen Tournament, where one will walk away with $75,000 cash money and the mantle of Teen Champion.

Another standard two-week affair awaits as the first runner-up receives $25,000 at least, while the second runner-up wins at least $15,000.

Semifinalists are guaranteed at least $5000, while quarterfinalists are guaranteed $2500 for participation. As always, any and all winning accrued depends on how far up the ladder a player goes.

Daily Double #1: $800 Adjectives. Heidi, still in third with $4800 against Kristin’s $8200 and Hank’s $11,000, can take second if she bets at least $3400. She wagers $3000 on this clue: this adjective can mean “relating to fingers” or “relating to numbers”. “What is digital?” Right for $7800.

Daily Double #2: $1600 Landmarks. Hank, commanding the board this round with $14,200 right now against Kristin’s 48600 and Heidi’s $7800, bets $2000. The clue: the Central Park statue by Georg Lober donated by this European country features an ugly duckling. “What is Denmark?” Right for $16,200!
