Round
of 5 - The Hash Before the Tag
Can you believe it? We have only 5 for the
semifinals. Who've thought that these 5 would make room for a competition like
none other? Well, Later on, twitter users pick a dance style for our couples,
but with that later on, we start the show.
The first half starts with Kellie & Derek doing an argentine tango. The sioulette part was the only highlight you might see. Let's get a mirror image on the scoreboard and find out if they drew first blood or not. CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 10 BRUNO: 10 ROund 1 score: 30 Next is Ingo & Kym doign a samba to "One More Night" by Phil,er, Maroon 5. Both did arm work and did more dancing on a small platform. Off the platform you go and face the scoreboard! CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Round 1 Score: 24 Third, Aly & Mark doing a rumba to "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars. Aly did a foot drag and later did a slow split. By the end, she walked away. Now we walk over to the scoreboard. CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 10 BRUNO: 10 Round 1 Score: 30 How about Jacoby & Karina doing an argentine tango? It was a case of bringing it and they brought it down. Bring on the scoreboard!!! CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 10 BRUNO: 10 ROund 1 Score: 30 And to end the half, Zendaya & Val doing a quickstep to "Don't Give Up" by the Noisettes. Both pretended to race when Zendaya pushed Val and by the end, she took her way to the top of the entrance area being a winner. Hooray! We check teh scores. CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9 Round 1 Score: 25 1 down, 1 to go. Zendaya is fallign apart, but Aly & Jacoby tie for the lead. Let's see what happens as our twitter heads pick styles. Going first again is Kellie & Derek doing a flamenco dance. They danced in a small box and....away they go. Fast feet and hand work made all the difference in this routine. What did the scores say? CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 10 BRUNO: 9 Round 2 Score: 28 Overall Score: 58 Next, Ingo & Kym doing a Charleston. Ingo started by playing a fake piano to serenade Kym, and it turned B&W into color a few seconds later. Getting to the end, they played around with champagne glasses and Ingo got the biggest bottle to end it. Let's get a big score for them! CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9 Round 2 Score: 27 Overall Score: 51 Next is Aly & Mark doing an Afro-Jazz routine. Don't be silly as to why they use the african spirit for this routine. They used sticks most of the time, but they leaped off and let the routine go from here. We go now to the scoreboard. CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 10 Round 2 Score: 29 Overall Score: 59 We now have Jacoby & Karina dancing a lindy hop to, get this now...."Ding Dong Daddy of the D-car Line" by the Cherry Poppin' Daddies. Something was wring with the horn section when Mr. Wheeler was asked to leave. However, that didn't matter when teh dance was all business. And the scores say: CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 10 Round 2 Score: 29 Overall Score: 59 And to end it, Zendaya & Val doing hip-hop. Yes, the names on the graphic say it all, but proving to stay in the game, she busted out a few moves of her own. This proves that she can do it all. And the scores say... CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 10 BRUNO: 10 Round 2 Score: 30 Overall Score: 55 And that's the end of the program. Was this Ingo's last dance? Or did somebody had the last laugh?
