Round of 9 - A Square Dance Slow Jam
April 15

Today may be a regular day for DWTS, but we've maxed the routine to 4. That's right, 4. Len Goodman addresses a "Side-By-Side" challenge to all the stars and their partners, and they even called in the troupe for some much neede backup. So watch what happens as 4 people take a ballroom like never before and make it come to life as we start now.

First, Ingo & Kym decide to partner up with Tony Dovolani and Emma Slater to cha-cha to "Lady Marmalade" by Labelle. The girls pretended to use fans while the guys wore bowler hats for this one. Both did a lot of arm work and the girls went through the guys. Ingo & Kym took their turn alone and by teh end, they serve empty cocktails. Here's what the score was....

CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21

Second, Jacoby & Karina got Maks and Anna Trebunskyaya to do a jive to "Long Tall Sally" by Little Richard. They were having a card game, but stopped it when it was time to dance. Anna & maks came in first and taht's when Jacoby & Karina went next. A few seconds later, jacoby took off his shirt and did a couple of splits and jumped over Karina. By the end, she knocked him to the floor. Now we wake up to the scoring....

CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9
Total Score: 26

Third up is Victor & Lindsay being joined by Emma again and this time Tristan Mcmanus to do a Vienesse waltz to "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS. Out of a group of fakes, Tristan & Emma came in and later, it was Vic & Lindsay. Lindsay dragged out and later did a floor spin. By teh end, they stood with the rest of the fake people. Let's not fake the calculator.

CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21

Next up, Aly & Mark putting in Tony for the 2nd time and SYTYCD alum Witney Chehon to do a samba to "Misery" by Maroon 5. They were in the entrance area watching Tony & Witney dance, but later it was turned into synchronized ballroom when they joined in. Aly & mark went in alone and the red lasers came on. Just making sure nobody gets hurt after this. After dodging a bullet, we dodge to the scoreboard....

CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9
Total Score: 25

We're halfway home as Sean & Peta tag team with Tristan for the 2nd time and this time CHelsie Hightower as they quickstep to "Go Get It" by Mary Mary, er, Sepalot w/Ladi6. It looks as if it was a real ballroom competition and CHelsie & tristan went in first and joined Sean & Peta on a higher platform. the latter of teh 2 went for action and Peta did a kick and knocked the other team out of line. Let's line up for the scoreboard....

CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 24

Kellie & Derek add in Henry and for the 2nd time Anna t. to do a foxtrot to "It Had To Be You" by Ruth etting. Anna & Henry went in first while Kellie & Derek hung out at the piano. However, Kellie did a little pecking of her own. As they go it alone, they did a little silly duck walk and both did a few kicks. Kellie ended it with a floor sweep. Now we clean up the numbers with a vacuum.

CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9
Total Score: 27

Here's D.L. & CHeryl acquiring Sasha Farber and for her second routine, CHelsie to do a tango to "Love Letter" by Clairy Browne & the Bangin' Rackettes. Behind 2 shadows were Sasha & Chelsie and later, DL & Cheryl broke out of the shadow to dance with them. By the time they went solo, both did kicks and Cheryl did a foot drag. By teh end, it back back to the shadows. Let's hide out and get to teh scoreboard.

CARRIE ANN: 6 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 6
Total Score: 18

Zendaya & Val get his brother for the 2nd time and for the 3rd time, Anna as they do an Argentine Tango to "Discombobulate by film composer Hans Zimmer. There had been a royal jewels scenario and the guys catch the girls by surprise, so Anna & Maks decide to go first. Both joined and Zendaya & Val chose to go it alone. Zendaya did some of the leg work for her and knocked Val down to the floor. Ouch! On to the scoreboard....

CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 10
Total Score: 29

Finally, Andy & Sharna teamed up with Sasha & Emma to do a paso doble to "The Plaza of Execuction" by James Horner. Sharna had to witness Sasha & Emma going first and wait a second, that must be Zorro. No, it's actually Andy on a zipline arriving. Both men playing around with their capes and both Andy & Sharna went alone. A bit of flamenco came in and Andy continued to play with his cape. ANd the scoreboard says....

CARRIE ANN: 6 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 6
Total Score: 18

Our top 3 sidewinders are Zendaya with 29, Kellie with 27 and Jacoby with 26. Tomorrow, somebody will get pulled over on teh side of the road and get a citation for it. The results show will tell all. Later everyone!
