Round of 12 Part 2 - The Easter Bunny Hip Hop Brunch
March 25

Well good day everyone. It may be unusually cold out here, but we're jsut warming up with another edition of DWTS. Today, it'll be the quickstep and the jive, but there is a new jazz routine going into the mix. How well will the 3 styles blend? Let's find out as we begin our show.

FIrst off, Ingo & Kym doing a quickstep to "Billy-A-Dick" by Bette Midler. Kym was out of a lit-up picture box and there was no stopping her. Even she went though him and with that, we're through. To the judges. Len said he came out and did exactly that, Bruno said it was Tricky Dicky and Carrie Ann said his frame was teh problem. Now we put the numbers in a picture frame.

CARRIE ANN: 6 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7
Week 2 Score: 20
Overall Score: 40

Before we continue, all my twitter family, when you watch these performances, use the #Encore and teh first name of the star you're rooting on, like Dorothy & Tristan who are next doing a jive to "Chantilly Lace" by The Big Bopper. Tristan pretended to be a 50's rock star and leaped to the ballroom. Dorothy went through him later on and there was more. On to the judges. Bruno said it was a very brave attempt, Carrie Ann said the ankles was her fear and Bruno said it had drama, but didn't deliver. Scoring package in the mail!

CARRIE ANN: 5 LEN: 5 BRUNO: 5
Week 2 Score: 15
Overall Score: 36

And next is Jacoby & Karina doing a jazz routine to "Five Guys Named Moe" by Louis Jordan. It started out in a vintage color, but was later changed into color. It brought the spriit of the 20's into the routine. Now we fast forward to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was rocking, Len said it was full of razzle-dazzle and Bruno said it was like watching a headlining star at the Cotton Club. Now let's get the scores before the apollo siren goes off.

CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 8
Week 2 Score: 23
Overall Score: 43

Ahead is Victor & Lindsay doing a jive to "Runaway Baby" by Bruno Mars. Looking as if they escaped from prison, they decided to use their footwork on the floor later on and both did arm work near the end. Now we run to the judges. Len said it didn't knock his socks off, Bruno said it went for it like a runaway train and Carrie Ann said he was on the right track. Tracking the scores.....

CARRIE ANN: 6 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 6
Week 2 Score: 18
Overall Score: 36

Next, Wynonna & Tony doing a quickstep to the "Neutron Dance" by the Pointer Sisters. Both rode around in their Segways and acted like cops. However, she acted like it was nothing. Maybe the judges will fix that. Bruno said those assets need security at all times, Carrie Ann said her frame is beautiful and Len said the engine never ran out of first gear. Maybe this'll run into 4th gear....

CARRIE ANN: 6 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 6
Week 2 Score: 18
Overall Score: 36

We're ready to see Zendaya & Val dance a jive to "This Head I Hold" by Electric Guest. Boy, they went all out by the time this routine went into action. By the end, Val pretended to blow a kiss to the crowd. Did the judges blow them out of the water? Let's see. Carrie Ann said she is the whole shebang, Len said she's back next week and Bruno said A star is born big time. Seeing scores now....

CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9
Week 2 Score: 26
Overall Score: 50

The next jazz routine goes to Andy & Sharna doing "poker Face" by Lady Gaga. It felt like an Alice in Wonderland theme, but they turned both into one monster later on. Now we turn our attention to the judges. Len said it was a lock, Bruno said the Mad hatter has gone gaga and Carrie Ann said jazz was his category. Let's see the numbers behind it....

CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 7
Week 2 Score: 20
Overall Score: 37

Next is Sean & Peta doing a jive to "(Let's Get Movin') Into Action" by Skye Sweetnam. Sean pretended to be a lifeguard and Peta was found with binoculars graphics. He went there and woke Peta up. Later, she went through Sean and both did arm work. Even both did a cartwheel near the end. Now we wheel over to the judges. Bruno said he has the kind of charm, Carrie Ann said it's a solid performance and Len said he didn't see enough jive. But can he see this?

CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 7
Week 2 Score: 20
Overall Score: 39

Aly & Mark are ready to quickstep to "Jumpin' Jack" by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Ack! I'm being blinded by the too-lit staircase but they started dancing nonetheless. Getting near teh end, he jumped over Aly, but we jump ahead to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was the best quickstep of the night, Len said it was terrific and Bruno said it was like watching a blue bird on full flight. Scoreboard's on takeoff....

CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8
Week 2 Score: 24
Overall Score: 45

Lisa & Gleb get to jive to "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)" by One Direction. Lisa got to be a flight attendant and Gleb slid in as a pilot. Then, he took the shirt off, but just the buttons to make sure. Lisa later did a split and more came along. Now we split to the judges. Len said she never took off for him, Bruno said she's not used to commercial flight and Carrie Ann said she holds herself with such refinement. Hold on, scoreboard check....

CARRIE ANN: 6 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 6
Week 2 Score: 18
Overall Score: 36

D.L. & Cheryl get ready to quickstep as they dance to "It Don't Mean A Thing" by Duke Ellington. It started with D.L. on the judges table and he got down there. It brought them into the groove. And now we go to the judges. Bruno said it was a lot of content, Carrie Ann said he came back and put in the work in for him and Len said he imporved over last week, Let's upgrade the scoreboard....

CARRIE ANN: 5 LEN: 5 BRUNO: 6
Week 2 Score: 16
Overall Score: 28

ANd finally, Kellie & Derek doing jazz to "Lights" by Ellie Goulding. Kellie did a slo-mo bicycle move and eventually played around with a large glowstick. However, Kellie was in the lift of one big move to boost. Carrie Ann she is a dancer, Len said it was a fire and Bruno said it was a smash hit. Let's smash up the board....

CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9
Week 2 Score: 26
Overall Score: 47

So to recap, Zendaya gets the gold with 50, Kellie gets the silver with 47 and Aly with a score of 45 gets bronze. Jacoby has 43, Ingo with 40, Sean with 39, Andy with 37, a 4-way tie with 36 and D.L. at the back of the line with 28. Maybe the results show will let D.L. improve with big numbers. Maybe not, but we'll see. Find out why tomorrow.
