Chico: Say what you will... I still think The Weakest Link is his best work.
Gordon: What about Greek Games?
Chico: ... I still think The Weakest Link is his best work. Junkyard Wars notwithstanding, of course.
Gordon: Of course. That seems pretty accurate - what about the rest of these quotes?
Chico: That's what we've got coming up here on Accuracy or Idiocy. Simple really. Here's the first one.

With specimens such as Joe Lawrence, Howie Mandel, and Chico Alexander, "bald is the new black."

Chico: You're familiar with the phrase "The new black", right? It's used to indicate the sudden popularity or versatility of an idea at the expense of the popularity of a second idea.
Gordon: Idiocy. I think bald was the new black when Michael Jordan did it, and then other athletes quickly followed. It's finally hit the game show world, but the trend has always been there.
Chico: According to many pop culture blogs, which cite Dancing with the Stars' Joe Lawrence and Deal's Howie Mandel... "Bald is the new black" Some people have just been cool for years... Heh. Me, I've been cool since 8th grade apparently.
Gordon: How long ago was that?
Chico: 13 years. Hey, you find something that works, like shaving your head, you stick with it.
Gordon: Which was right about when Michael Jordan shaved his head, right?
Chico: Hmmm... No, you're talking about the late 80s now. You know, back when YOU were in the eighth grade. "Ah.. My pride..." =p
Gordon: Yes, but I didn't shave my head.
Chico: No. But you could've... Of course, you'd look like a baby or something. Next up...
Gordon: Next one...

An actual question on the Feud: a pop star whose voice is worse than yours. Among the answers: Britney Spears, Rod Stewart, Ashlee Simpson, and Paris Hilton.

Gordon: Accurate. Very very accurate.
Chico: I'm going to say accurate as well. The other two answers: Michael Jackson and Madonna. It was the Double Round, so the most they could have is six. I could name more than six, but ... well, that's just character assassination right there.
Gordon: Well, if you look at the body of work, it's the tone of the voice. Rod is VERY talented, but he's very raspy. Britney and Ashlee are talented...with 18 hours of production work per song.
Chico: Only eighteen? You're giving people too much credit.
Gordon: They have the best production crew in the world. Madonna has a great voice, but you got the haters. Michael...well, he needs testosterone, and Paris....well, nothing can save that.
Chico: Okay, next up...

Quoting Dylan Lane: The Chain Reaction Endgame is the "toughest endgame in town".

Gordon: Not anymore, it isn't. Idiocy.
Chico: I'm going to go accurate, but I'm going to be a little backhanded about it, if I may. It's only tough on account of the people who have to play it.
Gordon: Listen kids - there's been enough episodes shown so that you know what's coming when you go to audition for the show. Would it hurt so much as to actually PRACTICE for the bonus round?
Chico: If you saw Friday's show, you saw a Chain Reaction first... The guys in the bonus round got nary a one correct. It's actually an easy task. You just have to be in the mindset. The number of teams I've seen in the mindset I can count on my right hand.
Gordon: It's not NEARLY as hard as it looks like on TV. Of course, if you were at last year's Game Show Congress, you could have played a version of that round in the game Get Rich Quick. I'm sure that Chain Reaction will be in this year's GSC. If you're going to be on Chain Reaction, you may want to think about attending.
Chico: What...
Gordon: is...
Chico: the...
Gordon: next...
Chico: Accuracy...
Gordon: or...
Chico: Idiocy?
Gordon: (DING)
Chico: MINDSET! :-) Booyah.
Gordon: And yes, we got it right on the first try.

We covered this one before, but... on Thursday night... "Tune in tonight (if you dare) and witness a little bit of TV one-upmanship gone McNuts"

Gordon: Mooooo...Accuracy. Whatever show you watch, you'll be a winner. Even if it's Celebrity Duets.
Chico: I beg to differ. There really wasn't much that made me feel like a winner on that show.
Gordon: This past episode was very very good.
Chico: Hal Sparks was pretty funky, though. Hal Sparks... Dee Snider... performing his only hit...
Gordon: Well that sort of reeked. Lucy, however was very good, as well as Jai
Chico: Lucy and Jai had experience, though. You expected them to be good. I was kinda hoping Jai would've made this interesting. Oh well. I guess that's why the finale is only an hour long.
Gordon: The final three are Lucy, Alfonso and Hal. Apparently, we have a lot of closet Twisted Sister fans
Chico: Or, if you're like the average American watching TV at 9 pm, you were busy getting your CSI on, your Deal on, or your McDreamy on to notice. Speaking of which...

Fox trims the 2-hour "Celebrity Duets" finale to one hour due to a flurry of scheduling changes preceding the baseball post-season break.

Gordon: Accuracy - if only to appease the executives of the shows that are about to be turned into McNuggets
Chico: Idiocy. They cut the finale to cut their losses from how much of a stinker this has become. Same thing happened with the Apprentice: Martha Stewart. My guess is that when dance cards go out, Celeb Duets won't be on the guest list.
Gordon: I agree, but it's FOX's fault for thinking that it would do anything in the Fall Season. I do agree with you that part of the reason is Duet's ratings, but I think that it's also to make nice nice and to try to salvage one of the new shows.
Chico: Give false hope to something, you know.
Gordon: Celeb duets has run it's course. Why not give some time to a new show and try to salvage the series? At least try to save a show without burning a seasons worth of shows to 'Never Before Seen Episodes' on a DVD set.
Chico: ahem*firefly*ahem. Final one.

Last one. Elayne Rapping: The reason that game shows have been so popular for so long is that many people simply have the desire to get on TV, and they see these shows as an attainable way to do it.

Gordon: Accuracy. That's how media hoes are created
Chico: Agreed. Of course, Media Hoes are created even before the game goes on the air.
Gordon: They start as little baby media hoes. Wild Hanlons, anyone?
Chico: Saywha?
Gordon: Don't let your babies grow up to be Media Ho Cowboys.
Chico: But do come back, because we've got babies... and daddies. After the break.
