Atlanta Auditions (or "Tyler Perry Presents Tyler Perry Trying to Be Tyler Perry.... Tyler Perry")
June 18
This is it, people, the very last audition city in Atlanta. We've hit 4 cities where hopefuls have made their way to Hollywood and the city known for cable TV innovations will make dancing innovations on their own. Lil' Buck will join the panel, so let's begin.

ATLANTA
Fox Theatre

Mariah Reives is first off and she did an outstanding jazz routine. It wowed the judges and that took her to Hollywood. Also going was Eric "Silky" Moore. Despite wearing a t-shirt and a couple of false starts to the routine, he finally got it going. Boy, he didn't quit. Joining those 2 were Kelly Maccoy. Her jazz routine went a bit too far and her hysterical back falls took her to the west coast anyway.

Chris Griffin from the Dragon House crew went in and did the job for him. That was the one that went to Hollywood. Conrad Decharbert was next. Last year, the judges wanted more masculine in his routine. This year, he decided to be a man and it went to Hollywood in one feel swoop. Next is Taveus Woods. best friend of last year's winner Fik-Shun, this Las Vegas street performer had an early hat fall, but it recovered just in time. It might be a round 2 berth for him. Branden Feimster may be on the show to have an attitude of his own. The controversy amd friction of his dancing got him nowhere. Out the door he goes. So did the ones in round 2 where 12 got in with a golden ticket. Boy, they got out with something lucky.

DAY 2

Jenna Dewan Tatum joined in place of Lil' Buck and Ricky Ubeda kicked off the auditions. With a contemporary piece, it was good enough to send him to Hollywood. Next was Marissa Milele. No wonder Nigel called her the beast of this season. Her ferocious moments sent her to Hollywood in a hurry. Elaine Kimble is next. Her mom had a stroke a decade ago and didn't tell she was going to audition, but she did, however and it was off to round 2 for her. Brandon Jacobs did something we never seen before: Cranking. Despute the dancing ability, he cranks the capacity to round 2. Angelina Granitz came up and her routine was a little slow & boring. The judges did speed her up by sending her to Hollywood. Next was Cristina Moya-palacios. She started dancing by the time her younger brother was sick and her dancing was so impressive, she took her to Hollywood. Last up, Jerrod Swain, who did some more cranking of his own and it would be a ticket to round 2.

With 32 in the next level, 9 dancers were only cranked out while the rest went to a sudden halt.

Next week, Hollywood week. A hell week where the survivors make up a big dacning bootcamp to see who would be cut day after day. We hope you won't miss that. Bye for now.
