It All Depends on the Pin-Up Girl
October 30

Dan and Suzie are the lone holdouts in a united Kota tribe. Meanwhile, the Fang continue their downward spiral. Ace, Matty & Sugar entered into an alliance, and they ended up voting out Kelly.

Day 19: "This is a tough game. We're starving."

No rice on the Fang tribe, and no one's more hopeless than Matty, especially after seeing Crystal trip over their box of rice. Ever see a grown man cry over spilled rice? Sad, ain't it? Not as sad as Crystal, who won't eat any of it. Matty & Ace are going against Crystal. Ace says she's doing him a favor -- "She'll be the next lamb to the slaughter."

Day 20: "People are going to think you're trashy."

Charlie, Marcus, and Corinne are looking tighter than ever, as Dan points out. "It's weird when I'm not part of the group. It makes me feel bad a little bit." Corinne says that that makes him socially inept. He's seeking approval. Marcus says that Dan's the ultimate paranoid human being.

R-CHALLENGE: Keep Away (for an afternoon picnic and the right to send someone to Exile; Corinne & Charlie sit out)

Three tribesmen will toss a breakable ball trying to keep it away from an opposing tribesman who'll try to break it, trying to force it to the ground. This'll be happening in two rings. First tribesman to break the ball scores a point for their tribe. First to three wins.

Round 1: Randy and Ace are the monkeys in the middle. Kota scores, 1-0.

Round 2: Bob and Sugar attack. Bob's scary. After a couple of takedowns... Kota scores again. 2-0.

Round 3: Dan can end it. Matty needs to keep it alive. Kota wins!

Kota sends... Sugar to Exile. AGAIN.

At the reward, the Kota enjoy the lush African scenery. Susie calls it "surreal."

At the Fang camp... a depreciated tribe is licking its wounds... AGAIN. Matty's starting to get pissed. Matty says that Ace needs to take out Sugar, promising to take him to the merge whilst keeping his hands clean. Ace brings up that if Sugar has the idol, then she can use it for our possession. Meanwhile, Kenny and Crystal are trying to discern the nature of the conversation... and it basically adds up to "She's next."

Back at the reward, a steward delivers some special packages... letters from home. Nice.

And at Exile... Sugar's just wiling away at the Sugar Shack. "What's funny is I'm pretty sure we're using each other. I'm sticking with him because he's the strongest player. I hope they're not all screwing me around."

Day 21...

I-CHALLENGE: Logjam

The bad news... BOTH tribes are going to Tribal Council tonight.

The good news... each of you will try for Individual Immunity.

It's a log roll, tribesman against tribesman. Last one standing has the knack.

And there's one more twist.

- Dan vs. Ace... Ace wins.
- Charlie vs. Crystal... Charlie wins.
- Marcus vs. Matty... Marcus wins.
- Randy vs. Susie... Randy wins.
- Kenny vs. Sugar... Sugar wins.
- Bob vs. Corinne... After a bit of a pause... Bob wins. Bob was a former lumberjack champ

Second round..

- Charlie vs. Ace... Ace wins by THAT much.
- Marcus vs. Randy... Marcus wins.
- Sugar vs. Bob... Sugar wins by a hair.

Final round...

- Ace vs. Marcus vs. Sugar. Sugar in the water first... Ace second. Marcus wins immunity AND a note to read... "You will now assign immunity to one member of the other tribe." That person... Sugar. He's hoping that she'll lose one of the big power players. Crystal says she's the most powerful person in this game.

Back at Fang camp, Matty & Ace want to get rid of Crystal, and it all depends on how Kenny can play Sugar. Kenny sings to Sugar like a canary. Sugar doesn't buy it. She doesn't buy anything from anyone. Sugar wants to blindside Ace because of the story Kenny says. Apparently, she's very smart. And Crystal's with them too.

Ace wants to borrow the Idol just in case of a blindside. Sugar doesn't want to give it up this time. It's at this junction where she starts to think that maybe Kenny's telling her the truth. Crystal's supposed to go next, but maybe plans have changed.

Night 21: Tribal Council - Fang.

We're low on rice. Valuable rice. Crystal is making an issue about it. Ace says that she made a mistake, and that her making a big deal about it is her being delusional. The two go at it some more. Sugar thinks it's just petty bullcrap. This is why we haven't been winning.

Crystal: ACE - "You're one of the snakes. I have to get rid of you. Go home!"
Matty: CRYSTAL - "I've been waiting for this day for so long."

The Idol... is not played. The rest of the vote...

Ace: CRYSTAL
Kenny: ACE

And the swing vote...

Sugar: ACE-(blurred)...

By a vote of 3 to 2, Ace, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.

The night is not over, however. Let's see what happened over at Kota...

Day 21: Back to the afternoon...

Right now, it's a good time to vote Dan out, he thinks. Randy, Charlie, Marcus, and Corinne ally up to the end. As long as he keeps his end, he can make it to the end. They all think Dan is a bumbling idiot and Susie is a strong ally. Charlie's hoping that Dan crosses his fingers and Susie commits social suicide...

... and there she is doing just that, as she and Corinne talk about voting Dan out and she lets its slip that she was almost going to vote HER out. She goes to her alliance with that. Randy says that Susie's vote can be bought, the problem with having no game. Randy wants Susie to go home... soon.

Okay, so do you take the safe route and vote for Dan, or take the risk and vote for Susie?

Back to Night 21: Tribal Council - Kota.

Marcus is basing his decision on what happens over the next few days. Susie thinks that Corinne is the weakest person on the tribe. Corinne doesn't agree. Corinne is picking up on some of her tendencies to let loose. Randy doesn't have to pretend, and people know where he stands most of the time. Dan tends to be a worrywart. Charlie intends for the tribe to present a united front. His vote is based on who he can trust going into the merge. Corinne hopes that she is making the right decision.

Susie: DAN - "Sorry, guy."
Dan: The SUZE - "You have a great heart. I'm going to vote for how I think the rest of the tribe is voting.
Marcus: SUZIE - "This is about Dan, not you."

The rest of the vote is...

Randy: SUSIE
Bob: DAN
Corinne: DAN
Charlie: DAN

By a four of 4 to 3, Dan, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.
