Global Domination or Summer Camp
January 19

No, it's not high school, it's "Superstars of Dance." A program dedicated to the men & women who dance for the whole world. This is the 2nd semi-final before we throw a big picnic for next week to see which country pays the tab big time.

India goes first. A group dance features guys in green and gals in the red. They've had fun with sticks and 1 guy was left on stage while others left. Let's leave it to the scoreboard.

ARG-8
AUS-7
S. AFR-7
USA-8
IRE-7
RUS-8
CHI-8

53 points and they're off the show. Not good. But 414 and the lead....now that's good!

Next, Ireland and Bernadette Flynn does the same solo like last time, with a different result. Scoreboard....

ARG-8
IND-7
AUS-7
S. AFR-8
USA-7
RUS-9
CHI-8

With that 58, it's time for her to go home to her ballet flats. That score gives them 347 & 3rd.

South Africa goes up and Mamela Nyazaza is up.....with a ballet dress going on schizophrenia. Any ideas?

ARG-7
IND-8
AUS-8
USA-8
IRE-8
RUS-8
CHI-8

55 points, and Mamela is gone, bald head & all. 401, however gives them 2nd.

China's up and it's a group that's either dancing...or kung fu. I'll never tell. One broke it down solo and 1 guy....balances with teeth in his shoe. Eww! Go to the scoreboard....

ARG-10
IND-9
AUS-9
S. AFR-10
USA-8
IRE-10
RUS-9

WIth a 65, Chun-Li sends South Africa packing with a kick.

The USA is next and Georgia and her partner dance with contemporary stuff.....or a plain old rumba....I'm confused. But aeronautics made me smile. Can I get the numbers?

ARG-8
IND-7
AUS-7
S. AFR-5...what?
IRE-8
RUS-8
CHI-7

With that 50, USA is D.O.A., but 413 gives them 2nd.

India goes up to bat and Mythil Parakash has the same piercing and even more jewelry. But if you watch carefully, she has red stuff on her foot. We go to the cards...

ARG-8
AUS-7
S. AFR-7
USA-8
IRE-8
RUS-8
CHI-8

A 54 sends the other Indian chopped off. So far, it's 391 overall.

Argentina's up and Carolina Cerisola danced under a white silhouette, but reveled herself under the red light. Did she not get eliminated?

IND-7
AUS-6
S. AFR-4.....Say What?
USA-8
IRE-10
RUS-10
CHI-8

A 53 and she's crying foul. Carolina is gone.

Who's this for an intermission? It's the superstar showdown between USA & China. Just pick the winner your own darn selves. Russia is next and Pascha & Aliona not only dance...but they can do magic, too. Let's make magic at the leaderboard...

ARG-7
IND-8
AUS-6
S. AFR-3.....This is ridiculous!
USA-8
IRE-10
CHI-9

They got 51 and they disappeared.

Last up, Ireland and a group of riverdancers. They're not messing around. With a 62, Australia and Ireland are tied, so the judges cut which country is not sticking around for next week, and it is....Australia. Ireland stays put.

So, we have a final set. Every country is for themselves and themselves alone. Who will prevail? Next week will be the week to find out who is the Superstar...of dance!
