Episode 12 - September 15
For those of you who were
wondering who won $10,000 last week, it was the team of
Jason and Sunny. With that out of the way, we bring you
three more teams and three more scenes to get through.
Joining us were...
Jair and Iris - Engaged (I assume they are, I
don't know.)
Katie and Zach - Co-Workers
Candice and Ralph - Friends
CHALLENGE 1: In "The Omen Dog Attack," each team
had one member touching three statues each having a card
with the "Scream Play" logo on them. Then their teammate
ran to the finished. Sure it sounded simple enough, but
both teammates had to wear special suits to prevent them
from getting hurt by the dogs that'll come into play.
The team who finished the scene in the fastest won a
trip to Australia.
Ralph went first for the statue-touching portion, then
when he was finished Candice crossed the finish line
despite having a dog bite on a part of her heavy suit.
The've set the standard by having a time of an even 21
seconds.
Zack was next for the statue-touching while Katie went
for the finish line. They've clocked in at a time of
16.7 seconds putting Candice and Ralph's Austrailan
vacation plans on hold.
Jair went last in touching the statues while Iris went
for the finish line. The dog released to Iris bogged her
down a quick period until one of her arms had crossed
the finish line. But that valiant effort wasn't good
enough thus giving them a time of 17.3 losing the Oz
trip to Katie and Zach.
CHALLENGE 2: In the "Rocky Egg Race" one teammate
began by running up the stairs to the second podium and
drinking a glass containing an egg, then running back to
the first podium and drinking another egg. The host had
to check his/her tongue if it's clear before having
their teammate take their turn. The process repeated
with the third and fourth podiums until they're done.
The two teams who finished in the fastest time advanced
to the final scene.
Since Katie and Zack won the trip to Australia, they
chose the order of play. Jair and Iris were elected to
go first recording a time of one minute and 13 seconds.
Zach and Katie went next with a time of one minute and
nine seconds, giving them a guaranteed spot for the
finals. Candice and Ralph were the last team to take the
challing giving them a time of one minute and three
seconds. They are moving on along with Zach and Katie
while Iris and Jair go home.
CHALLENGE 3: In the "Back to the Future Zip Line"
one member of a team went on a zip line blindfolded
while the other member stayed on the ground. The player
on the zip line then dropped a bean bag as close to the
center of the target as possible. The team who was
closest to the center target won $10,000.
Since Katie and Zack won the previous challenge, they
again selected the order of play. Katie went first with
a drop that was nine feet, 8 and 3/8ths inches from the
center. Ralph went on the zip line next with a drop of
11 feet and 11 and 7/8ths inches from the center, giving
Katie and Zach the lead.
Zach was next on the zip line with a drop of five feet
and 7 and 7/8ths inches improving from their previous
score. Candace took the final ride of the zip line in
which her drop was close enough to the center of the
target to give them the $10K win. And as for Katie and
Zach, they go home awaiting their Oz trip.
Until next week, this is Brian Moore saying "that's a
wrap!" |
