Episode 5 - July 14

While some of us were watching I Love the 90's on VH1, some of us were watching E! for this episode of Scream Play.

Tonight's show had teams featuring...

John and Elizabeth
Leslie and Torrei
Alexandra and Brett

Pulled out of the movie "Slapshot," the teams took part in the first stunt where they play broomball... naked?! Each team started out in their hockey uniforms and on the host's signal, they stripped down to nothing but their shoes and their helmets. Then they had to go across the hockey arena to pick up the broomball sticks, gather up all 15 of the red balls into the goal, and then pressing the panic button. The team who finished in the fastest time won a trip to St. Thomas.

RESULTS
-------
John and Elizabeth - 1:46
Leslie and Torrei - 1:32
Alexandra and Brett - 1:26 (Won trip to St. Thomas!)

Wow that was a close one for Alex and Brett! Before Alex pressed the button, the host shouted that there was one ball still out of the goal. Alex sent the ball to Brett who sent it to the goal getting her back to the button to press it and stop the clock.

Up next, the teams did a stunt from the movie "Dances with Wolves." Each team was given three minutes to each up to six pounds of buffalo meat as possible. The two teams who ate the most meat advanced to play for $10,000.

RESULTS (In Order of Play)
-------
John and Elizabeth - .2 lbs.
Leslie and Torrei - .4 lbs. (TIE)
Alexandra and Brett - .4 lbs. (TIE)

While John and Elizabeth were eliminated from further play, a clear-cut winner had to be determined. So the tied teams took part in a tiebreaker do determine who would eat the longest. Leslie and Torrei broke the tie after Alexandra and Brett stopped eating the meat.

Going from a fantasy Indian reservation to a swimming pool, this was where the final stunt took place.

From the movie "Damien: Omen II" each team had to have their teammate find keys in the water while the other member tries to unlock one of six doors on the platform. Six of them unlock each of the six doors, that's one key for each door because of the different keyholes on the locks. The team who opened all the doors in the fastest time won $10,000.

Going first was the team of Alexandra and Brett. Alexandra went into the water and Brett was at the platform. But the water had made Alexandra uncomfortable and caused her to quit. The team of Lesie and Torrei were the other team to play. Leslie was in the water and Torrei was on the platform. They went through half of the keys. Leslie hit her head on the bottom of the platform to disorient her for a little bit. The team was on a good progress until Leslie went above the water out of the parameter of the platform.

If this show was Fear Factor, the money would be in vain if no player had completed the final stunt. But the game ain't over by a longshot. The rules of the stunt were modified for the second go-around. There were only three keys in which one of them unlocked a door.

Leslie and Torrei tried, but failed giving their opponents their second wind with Brett in the water. We've finally have our winners, Alexandra and Brett.

And the show is finally over...until next week that is.
