"X Marks the Spot"
- March 21
This episode begins with Robin talking to Beth about
Mark. And was told that Tonya was talking about
watching movies and hanging out with him and they were
somewhat dating. Robin's thinking that Tonya's a big
fat liar, so she called Mark and was being told by him
that he has never hanged out with Tonya. Tonya's
claiming that Mark's her man and then drama fills up
the air.
Over at the lounge the teams receive a message about
their next mission. They're told to leave at 11 A.M.
and to bring their swimsuits and sneakers. Then Robin
confronts Tonya about her lying about hooking up with
Mark. Tonya says that relationship was for a weekend,
it's not a big deal and she didn't like Mark. This
began a screamfest between each other, and boy has it
gone ugly! Beth somehow became a nightmare to Rachel
according to herself. Tonya confronted Beth about this
situation, but Beth wants Robin in to this. Then Tonya
throws her suitcase full of her belongings into the
pool in a bit of anger. And then she spreads the
clothes out of the case and into the pool. Tonya gives
Beth another chance to explain what kind of stunt she
was trying to pull, but Beth couldn't answer and told
her to ask Robin about this. Then Tonya throws more
clothes to the pool.
After the first commercial break is over, Beth goes
over to the pool to find her clothes and her bag
ruined saying that Tonya is crazy. Landon, Mike, Brad,
go the pool and see the thrown clothes. Mike claims
that he's never seen anything like this and that this
is the coolest challenge ever. Mike loves the Inferno
part II! Beth feels that she isn't safe with Tonya
around.
On the morning before the challenge, Beth decides she
isn't doing anything unless Tonya leaves and gets
compensated for her loss. Tina thinks this is selfish
so she decides to manipulate her into doing this next
mission. With the help of her and the other teammates,
Beth comes around.
The teams go to the marina for the next challenge "X
Marks the Spot." This is where teamwork is the key to
winning. This is played like ring toss, but it'll be
done differently. One person will be paired up with
their fellow teammate. One person will be harnessed to
the crane while their teammate will be harnessed to
them. The crane-connected person will release the
other person when they're over the X-shaped target,
divided up into five rings. The middle, gray ring is
worth 20 points and the outside rings are worth 10
points. If a person misses the target, no points will
be scored. The team with the highest total score wins
the mission and adds another $10K into their team bank
account...and no additional prize this time. The Good
Guys have lost the first two missions, can they get a
win this time?
Julie and Robin go first missing the target for a
no-score. Dan and Tonya go next ending up with the
same situation. Landon and Jamie went up next with
another no-score. C.T. and Beth take the next swing
with failing to break the scoreless tie. Brad and
Shavonda tried their swing, but also failed to score.
Tina and Karamo step up with Tina entering the red
ring for 10 points...but wait. Upon an instant
replay...Tina was out of the ring when she hit the
water and tried to go above the ring. Unfortunately
the judges watched the tape and the 10 points were not
counted. The last pair from the Bad Asses team are
Abram and Rachel. They hit the center ring to break
the scoreless tie with a 20-0 lead. Darrell and Make
from the Good Guys take their final swing, they need
20 points to force a tie-breaker. Can they do it? The
answer is...NOPE!
Claiming their 20-0 victory over the Good Guys once
again are the Bad Asses. Their bank account has been
raised to $30,000. Another disappointing loss for the
Good Guys. Sure it's just a game, but for the Good
Guys, losing sucks! It's now time to nominate two
women for the Inferno, the teams separate for their
deliberations. For the Inferno, the Good Guys nominate
Robin while the Bad Asses nominate Tina. Tina says the
guys screwed up when they nominated her to the
Inferno, and boy she was mad. Beth does not the Bad
Asses and she's now working for the Good Guys.
Will Beth's work for the other team break the Good
Guys losing streak? We'll find out in the next episode
of the Inferno II.
