"Juice
It Up" - March 14
We start off the show by seeing some of the
participants being crazy and some of the guys getting
drunk. Julie found spirituality and a life partner
who is John. Landon and Derrick wrestle and Brad
tries to break them up to prevent them from falling
two stories to the ground. Jon tells us that they
aren't just about partying, getting hammered and
trashed, and sleeping around. I wonder if that'll
affect the upcoming mission.
Jon receives a message
on the T-Mobile Sidekick II about their next
mission. They are told to wear their team colors
and shoes and to leave at 1 PM to go to the Marina.
The next challenge is called "Juice It Up." This is
where players must walk to the trees that are
hanging fruit on them. Then they must take their
fruit across the field to their provided glasses and
squeeze enough juice to fill up their glass pass the
line. Once the objective is complete their time
will be recorded. The team with the fastest average
time wins the mission and $10K to their team bank
account. In addition, members of the winning team
recieve a Dell PocketDJ MP3 player. Then host Dave
tells the participants that they'll be doing the
walking on specially-designed stilts. If a
participant knocks their glass off their pedestal,
they must put it back up and start the jucing over
if necessary.
And a member of each
team who completes the task the fastest will each
win a "Life Shield," which can be used to save
themselves or a teammate to be sacrificed into the
Inferno.
In Heat I, It's Abe
against Julie. Julie wins this heat making the Good
Guys win by 21 seconds. In the next heat Brad is
against Veronica. Brad wins this head with a 1
minute and 10 second lead for the Good Guys. In the
third heat Jon fell en route, but that didn't stop
him from winning it with a 1 minute and 15 second
lead. Landon and Derrick go at it in head 4 with
Landon winning it, rasing their lead to 1 minute and
19 seconds. In heat 5, Karamo beat Darrell to the
punch rasing adjusting the Good Guys lead down to 58
seconds. Tonya beat Shavonda in heat 6, lowering
the Good Guys lead to 41 seconds. In the 7th heat,
Robin broke the losing steak beating Beth and
raising the Good Guys lead by 1 minute and 18
seconds. Jamie faces off against Dan in heat 8, but
Dan wins adjusting the Good Guys lead to 1 minute
and 1 second. Jodi and Tina do battle in heat 9.
Things were going well until Jodi knocked off her
glass and when she refills, she doesn't have any
more fruit. It looks like, this could mean the
mission at this point. And Tina, despite falling
down enroute back to the her glass, she wins now
giving the Bad Asses a 37-second lead. In the tenth
and final head, Mike takes on C.T. Mike wins; but
overall, his best efforts weren't enough. The Bad
Asses claim their second victory with their
18-second lead. Their bank account is now at
$20,000. The winners of the "Life Shield" are C.T.
for the Bad Asses and Mike 'The Miz' for the Good
Guys. Now according to the rules, since Mike was
nominated to go to the Inferno he doesn't have the
option to go to the Inferno and must use the shield
to Jon, Darell, Landon, or Brad.
After the mission, Jon
came up to Mike and says he wants to go to the
Inferno. But Julie is thinking that John must not
do this. The teams now go to the Inferno and meet
host Dave. Dan's competeing for the Bad Asses and
Mike's competeing for the Good Guys. C.T.'s holding
the life shield, but he decides not to use it. Mike
decides to use the life shield on Jon. Tonight's
Inferno mission is called "Hang Tough." Monkey bars
are set up atop 30 feet from the ground. Jon and
Dan must climb up the unsteady ladders and get to
the center portion of the bars. From there they
musy do a chicken fight, and whoever falls off from
the monkey bars will be the first participant going
home. The last man hanging wins the Inferno and
returns to the team they represent. In the end Jon
falls off and gets the boot which was a sad moment
for the Good Guys team, especially Julie who is
Jon's life partner.
Will Julie pull through
Jon's elimination? Will the Good Guys get out of
their two-mission losing streak?
Those questions will be
answered next time in the Inferno II.
