Baltimore Qualifier
1
July 8
Brent Steffensen made a
return campaign to the final American Sasuke course, and
he will not be alone in Venice Beach when it comes time
to choose a team. A bevy of ANW All-Stars and the first
female to make the cut will be joining him. We'll see
how they do later on, but tonight, we move the search
for America's ultimate athlete to Baltimore where 12
athletes have gone from start to finish and have
guaranteed themselves a slot in the Baltimore Final.
BALTIMORE
Inner Harbor
This course features a number of new
obstacles.... FOUR have not been seen on American Ninja Warrior.
- QUINTUPLE STEPS: five steps, seven feet
between each one.
- DOWNHILL JUMP: one slide on the ramp, one swing to the platform.
- PRISM TILT: a suspended prism.. that tilts.
- SWING JUMP: swing to a cargo net and maneuver to the landing.
- CIRCLE CROSS: swing across rings and ropes.
- WARPED WALL: Fourteen feet, three tries.
As a reminder, anyone who finishes the
qualifier moves on to the regional final and move one step closer to the
American Sasuke course in Las Vegas. If we have less than 30 complete,
the remaining spots go to the fastest and the furthest.
